Join the Kindness Adventure and celebrate the launch of C.C. the Caring Cow’s Kindness Adventure, created by Peter, founder of Change the One.

Meet C.C. the Caring Cow and her cheeky friend Biz the Bee in a heartwarming children’s story that shows young readers something incredibly important: even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference.

But this book is about more than a beautiful story.

Every book purchased helps Change the One provide education, clean water, sanitation and essential support to children and families living in poverty. Change the One is a registered charity with DGR status, is entirely volunteer run, and 100% of the money raised goes to those in need.

C.C. and Biz’s Philippine Kindness Adventure Philippines - Part 2

C.C: “Hello, everyone! It’s C.C. the Caring Cow here. Biz and I have just returned from a wonderful kindness adventure in the Philippines”!

C.C: “Our journey began at the airport, where we had so much fun watching the aeroplanes”.

Biz: “I was checking whether any of them had bee-sized seats!”

C.C: “We travelled to Los Baños and explored the beautiful botanical gardens before visiting a school where Change the One established a bakery café. Students learn valuable skills there, while also helping provide food for children who arrive at school with nothing to eat”.

Biz: “Learning, baking and sharing—now that’s a sweet idea!”

C.C: “We also visited our dear friends at the orphanage. We shared lunch, played games and gave everyone C.C. and Biz soft toys and copies of our book, C.C. the Caring Cow’s “Kindness Adventure.”

Biz: “There were smiles, laughter and lots of buzzing around!”

C.C: “And something extremely exciting that is traditional in the Philippines we went for a ride on a tricycle, that is a motorbike with a sidecar”.

C.C: “Tell us what act of kindness did you do today? …….. and where would you like our adventures to take us next time”??

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU

What an incredible night it was. We are still smiling when we think about the laughter, the dancing, the generosity, the excitement of the auction and most importantly, the amazing community of people who came together to support Change the One.

Our Gala Dinner and book launch was truly a night to remember. Over 140 wonderful people danced the night away, enjoyed a sumptuous three-course meal and drinks, tried their luck at the casino-style games, captured special memories in the photo booth and generously supported our auction and fundraising efforts.

But behind all the fun was something incredibly important.

Because of your generosity, we are now able to move closer to completing two very important missions that will change the lives of children and families.

• Hoa Mi Kindergarten — where we are helping to create a safer and more supportive learning environment, including new classrooms, a kitchen, toilets and a water filtration system to provide clean drinking water.
• Thien Tam Social Support Centre — where Change the One will help construct a new purpose-built facility to support approximately 40 children with disabilities and their families.
These are not just building projects. They are opportunities. They are hope. They are a hand up, not a handout - creating safer spaces, brighter futures and the chance for children and families to thrive.
