Upcoming AusAlert Test - A TEST of Australia's new AusAlert emergency warning system will take place on the 27th July 2026 at 1.30pm in South Australia.
AusAlert is a new national warning system that uses the latest technology to send emergency messages to compatible mobile
devices.
If you are in the test area, you may receive a loud alert on your mobile phone, smartwatch or tablet. The message will clearly state that it is a TEST and NO action is required. AusAlert is designed to help keep communities informed during emergencies such as bushfires, floods and other major incidents.

The Big Outback Trip is happening again! With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Silouan of Adelaide is embarking on another transcontinental voyage across the vast Diocese of Adelaide. From 15th to the 30th of June, His Grace and a small team will travel from Adelaide to Darwin and back again in order to minister to the people and serve the Divine Liturgy in various Outback communities along the way, supported by generous sponsors.

This is just one of many trips to regional towns that His Grace does throughout the year, and these trips are always supported by the Central Philoptochos and the Inter-Communities Council of the Holy Diocese of Adelaide. Another enjoyable luncheon at Prophet Elias, Norwood. The food was beautiful as always, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the company was even better.

Last week we celebrated our incredible volunteers as part of National Volunteers Week 2026, at the West Beach Surf Club.
It was a fantastic afternoon recognising the amazing people who give their time, energy, and passion to support our community.
A huge thank you to all of our volunteers, your dedication and generosity make such a positive difference every day. We truly appreciate everything you do!
