The Better Day is hosting, R U OK? Day 💛

We want to create a safe, welcoming space for our community to connect, pause, and check in on one another.

📅 When: Thursday, 10th September
📍 Where: 88 Perth St, South Toowoomba
🥪 Bring a plate: If you are able, we invite you to bring a small, simple plate to share with the community.

Gluten-free & vegan options will be made available so everyone can enjoy a treat! 🍰🌱

Where Community and Connection grows 🌻

Today our Community Centre was absolutely BUZZING with energy as everyone rolled up their sleeves to water the flowers, pull some weeds and make decorations. Gardening and community activity is a wonderful way to build skills, share a laugh, and watch your hard work bloom.

Seeing our team and participants work side by side and get involved (whatever that may look like) is what it’s all about so thank you to everyone for your green thumbs efforts, collaborative creativity, and for enjoying the environment 🙏🏻

We can’t wait to see our Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Chronicle Garden entries come to life! 🌳💐🌼

When a little bit of disco meets a whole lot of heart ✨

Thank you to everyone who attended our FREE Community BBQ & BOOGIE. From homemade dinner and dessert to trivia and catwalk cheers…what a truly spectacular night of teamwork making the dream work. There’s nothing quite like seeing people from all walks of life, come together on the dance floor to enjoy the music and movement! 🪩

I’d also like to acknowledge Rudy who pulls it all together. Your ability to bring people together and support them to freely show up, just as they are, is a phenomenal quality. Thank you for nurturing this safe space where everyone is welcome to shine- I have no doubt that these moments, have been turned into memories 🥰🕺💃
