TSBE - linking business with opportunity since 2012 - exists to help businesses of all sizes grow and to promote the sustainable economic growth of our region. Established to give appropriate importance and recognition to investment attraction, economic growth and infrastructure development, TSBE has since contributed to:
- bringing more than 60 businesses (and hundreds of investors) to the region


- increased job growth in the thousands and;
- many favourable announcements for vital infrastructure developments. TSBE has a thriving membership of nearly 500 businesses across 24 sectors and assists them to grow in the region by delivering a diverse membership offer with direct and indirect assistance tailored to suit business needs at their chosen level.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the June Contractor Connector, held at the beautiful Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel.

A big thank you to our guest speakers, Kenneth Wagner and Cameron Hall, for sharing their valuable insights and experiences.

Kenneth took us through the journey of Avani from concept to becoming the first internationally branded hotel built on the Sunshine Coast in over 40 years.

Cameron shared his story of returning home to the family business and working alongside his father to grow Hall Contracting into a major player. He spoke about the importance of family values, strong culture and treating everyone equally, as well as empowering your team and creating opportunities for the next generation.

We were proud to host international institutional investors attending Global AgInvesting Australia 2026 as part of the conference's Investor Tour Program, showcasing the innovation, scale and investment opportunities across Queensland agriculture.

TSBE in collaborating with the Department of Primary Industries facilitated a visit to the Toowoomba region by interested investor delegates of the Global AgInvesting Australia Conference.

The regional tour provided a valuable opportunity to highlight the businesses, infrastructure and production systems that make Queensland a globally competitive agricultural investment destination.

The discussion focussed on the future of regional growth and investment in Toowoomba and regional Queensland.
