The weather forecast was no deterrent for 28 keen parkrunners and parkwalkers, of whom 4 were first timers and 2 recorded new Personal Bests. Today’s event began with some glorious sunshine, with the winds and rain clouds picking up as our parkrunners hit the ridgeline! There were plenty of smiles nonetheless. 😊

We have been keeping a close eye on the weather for tomorrow, with potential for strong winds in the area. Please check our page at 7am tomorrow, as in the event of a severe weather warning the event will be cancelled for the safety of all participants.

A few showers won’t dampen our spirits this weekend, and thanks to our wonderful community of volunteers our roster is almost filled! If you’d like to stand under an umbrella this Saturday, we are still looking for a BARCODE SCANNER and would love to have you join our friendly volunteer team at the finish line.🤳 Volunteering is easy and we will make sure you have all the tools and support you need! A small turnout this week of 26 people. Shame because the weather was perfect, nice change from a few rather damp ones.

Photographer gig still available

It’s getting brighter in the mornings and we are looking for a volunteer to help us with the Course Check this Saturday! Perhaps you are looking for some extra kms, or hoping to enjoy the early morning views before the crowds roll in? Why not bring a friend (or two, or three) to join in the fun?

We are also looking for a barcode scanner and a tail walker.
