Who else feels it is tougher for young people to connect to others in person these days with more and more connection happening online? Are your teenagers spending as much time with friends in person as you did when you were growing up? If not who do they feel they connect to ?

RIP little angel 😢

Some losses don’t belong to one family alone—they echo through all of us.

When a child is taken by the hands of another, something sacred is broken. Not just for their loved ones, but for every heart that believes children should be safe, held, and allowed to grow.

Our children are not separate from us. They are all of ours—each one deserving of care, protection, and a world that chooses kindness over harm.

May we never look away. May we carry them, together.

I’m pleased to share that I’ve joined the Board of JB Charity Group.

JB Charity Group provides a genuine hand of hope to vulnerable young people and those experiencing homelessness across the City of Salisbury and City of Playford. Their impact in the community is both meaningful and deeply needed.

I’m looking forward to working alongside fellow board members to strengthen partnerships, support local organisations, and create positive outcomes for individuals who need it most.

A special acknowledgment to Founder and Chair, Joe Balawejer, whose commitment and compassion continue to drive this important work. Truly inspiring to see “doing good” in action.

Really enjoyed celebrating the end of the cricket season with the Golden Grove Cricket Club last night. 🏏

​A great night, brilliantly emceed by Golden Grove Cricket Club Chip Jarvis, and a real reflection of the strong, inclusive culture the committee and players have built both on and off the field.

It was lovely catching up with so many familiar faces and seeing the pride and real connection of families across the club.

​Congratulations to everyone on a fantastic season—wishing you all a well-earned break!

Lovely to be at Golden Grove Tennis Club’s presentation day 🎾

Proud that at People First Bank we’ve been partnering with the club for the past three years, and personally it’s been a privilege to be involved for around a decade.

Great to support the day with a few membership giveaways – especially when cost of living is hitting hard for many families.

We enjoy doing good in the community so much. And always good to share this event with Caleb, our home loan specialist.

This Saturday the Fourth XI are off to Walkerville Cricket Club to play in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association - ATCA LO7 Grand Final.

Get down there to support the team. A reminder that it is a licenced venue, so please don't BYO.

After the match - win, lose, tie or draw - head back to Harpers Field to help the team to celebrate a great year. There will be drinks specials (did someone say $10 jugs?) and all you can eat for $5 as we cook up whatever is left in the fridges and freezers.
