On Thursday, 28 May, our Kiwanis family had the privilege of serving a home-cooked meal at Ronald McDonald House Charities as part of the Meals from the Heart program.

A huge thank you to Alan Clark for organising this wonderful opportunity, and a special shout-out to Paul Cox, our Master BBQer, who kept the BBQ sizzling and the smiles coming!

We’re also incredibly grateful to Umesha, Jean, and Natasha for volunteering their time and helping make the evening such a success.

One of the highlights of the night was seeing some tiny helping hands getting involved—proving that you're never too young to make a difference. 💛

Together, we shared more than just a meal; we shared kindness, care, and a sense of community with families going through difficult times.

Thank you to everyone who contributed. It’s a wonderful reminder that small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact. ✨

Meals from the Heart – Ronald McDonald House Charities ❤️

On Thursday 22nd January, our Kiwanis family had the privilege of serving a meal at Ronald McDonald House Charities as part of the Meals from the Heart program.

A big thank you to Alan Clark for organising this meaningful opportunity for us.
Special thanks to Paul Cox, our chief BBQ master, who kept everything sizzling perfectly!
And heartfelt appreciation to Umesha and Odette for coming along and lending a helping hand.

But we truly couldn’t have done it properly without the enthusiasm and energy of our little helper, who stole the show and warmed plenty of hearts along the way!

It was a wonderful evening of service, fellowship and giving back — a reminder of how small acts of kindness can make a big difference to families doing it tough.

Last November, at our end-of-year dinner, we had the pleasure of inducting Natasha into our club family. The induction ceremony was beautifully conducted by former Division 10 Lt Governor Mike Hepple, making the occasion even more special.

The Objects of Kiwanis were thoughtfully read by Roshanthi, Umesha, Thushari, and Pramodi, adding meaning and warmth to the ceremony.

We are truly delighted that Natasha has joined our Kiwanis family. A very warm welcome — we look forward to serving the community together!

What an amazing night celebrating our Club’s 42nd Birthday!

A big thank you to Thushari Rathnayake for expertly facilitating the cake cutting and distribution !!! slicing a cake into 40 perfectly equal pieces is no small task! Honestly, that’s a special talent right there!

We were honoured to have our Charter Member Alan Clark and his wife Jo Clark cut the cake on this special occasion. A lovely moment that reminded us of the history, dedication, and friendships that make our club so special.

Here’s to many more years of service, fellowship, and good times together!
