Each year our leaders show up every week for our Scouts. From fun weekly program, to outdoor adventures, to camps, our youth always have something amazing to be a part of.

During National Volunteer Week we say a huge thank you to our leaders, parent helpers, and committee members. During 2025 they put in a phenomenal amount of volunteer hours for our young people!

Congratulations to Venturer Scout Emily who was recognised as a nominee for the Young Citizen of the Year with Sunshine Coast Council.

She has been recognised for her volunteering as a Joey Leader and inspiring youth in all sections through her many roles in supporting our Scout Group and other district and major activities.

Since becoming a Joey Scout at age 6, Emily has embraced everything that Scouts has provided and become a role model and mentor to many in their journey. BRAVO Emily!

18 cubs have completed an SIA badge in 3D printing. Over 4 hours they designed a fidget spinned using Tinkercad Codeblocks, a keyring using Tinkercad design space, and are now eagerly waiting for Kowari to complete the printing of their objects.
They also hid some small 3D printed animals around the local community for others to find and take home.

Our Joeys, Cubs, and Scouts attended the district JOTA/JOTI event on the weekend. They connected with cubs across the world in the JOTA chat rooms and also took part in the Challenge, coding a game in Scratch.

For their efforts they each earned a blanket badge to add to their collection. Many are hoping to submit their game into the competition.
