The Urban Farms new seedling frame.
The design was:
- rain proof
- rat proof
- bush turkey proof
- early morning sun(what seedlimgs love best for a more voluptuous seedling)
- no mid day sun
- great airflow.
- great full light.
-no cost all recycled materials.

=happy seedlings = happy farm = happy farmer.

Big thank you to Dave Huth who is a wizard on the tools.

We wouldnt be here if it wasn't for the help and handiness of all our volunteers so thanks again.

We've gone bananas with Carol and Sarah posing to show how big this bunch is.

Carol is our local seedling queen. She has been passing on seed germination wisdom to up-and-coming growers which is great to see in a community garden.

Bananas are originally a swamp plant so like lots of water and the mineral manganese that can be found in kelp products/seaweed products.

Harvesting our motherload of bananas, delivered to a lovely old lady called Sina who gives them to her church community.

A beautiful story of growing, giving, learning and bringing people & communities together. 😍
