Our Country Spotlight examines France, where young people have taken to the streets to protest declining public services. The Economist Spotlight examines Harvard economist Ariel Pakes and his influential research on industrial organisation, which has shaped how competition authorities assess markets.

We’re looking for passionate, motivated individuals to help shape student life at UQ as part of one of BEL’s largest and most active societies.

We have openings across all 6 portfolios: Audio-Visual (AV), Marketing, Publications, Education, Corporate Sponsorship and Social Sponsorship. As an officer, you’ll get hands-on experience organising events, creating resources, collaborating with our Executive team and bringing ideas to life!

Joining UQES is a great opportunity to build new connections, give back to the student community and develop valuable skills in leadership, teamwork and project management.

- Be studying economics, commerce, finance or business (all degrees are welcome to apply!)
