✨ Mewing Planning Consultants is seeking a Town Planning Student ✨

Mewing Planning Consultants has a proud history of supporting and employing student and graduate town planners. This opportunity has arisen following the graduation of their two most recent Student Planners, who have progressed into permanent full-time roles within their team.

Their team provides diverse expertise across all planning components, including development, expert witness, strategic planning and public policy. They act across a broad range of industry sectors and in urban, regional and rural settings.

✨ The Transport Professionals Association is hosting a Career Pathways in the Transport Industry Event! ✨

Join us to hear from three speakers from a variety of backgrounds, including UQ alumni. on how they came to develop a career in transport.

Designed to encourage university students who might be interested in a career in transport planning, traffic engineering, or transport modelling, our transport professionals will be happy to answer any burning questions you have following the presentations over light refreshments.

Membership and tickets to the event are free for students!

Registrations close Monday 24 August 2026.

✨We are so excited to be hosting another inter-uni event!

Come along to Gilhooleys Irish Pub (corner of Charlotte and Albert Street, Brisbane CBD) on Thursday the 27th at 5:30pm to meet your fellow Planning students from UQ, QUT and Griffith!

If you’re a member of either UQ OOPS or QUTPSA or GUBaSE you’ll be eligible for a $5 ticket - which gets you two free drinks!

Non-members tickets are $10. Tickets are in our description!

Lastly - sorry to any of our friends under the age of 18, you won’t be able to join us for this event as it is a licensed venue. ✨
