The countdown is on! Just ONE WEEK until the magnificent sights and sounds of our historic ferries and workboats return to the beautiful waters of Brisbane Water!

⏰ Challenge starts at 12 NOON
📍 Gosford Sailing Club – Brisbane Water
Come on down and witness these wonderful heritage vessels battle it out in a spectacular challenge around Brisbane Water!
The fleet will head south past Tascott and Koolewong, passing Woy Woy Fishermans Wharf around 12:30pm, before heading through Woy Woy Channel and Paddys Channel, past Saratoga and back to Gosford for an exciting sprint finish! 🏁

Join us afterwards at Gosford Sailing Club, where some of the vessels will berth for a closer look, followed by presentations on the fantastic new deck at the Boatshed Bar.

ONE WEEK TO GO – DON'T MISS IT! ⚓
Come on down to Gosford Sailing Club and the foreshores of Brisbane Water on Saturday 7 November 2026 to witness the 4th running of the Heritage Ferry & Workboat Challenge!
Starting at 12 noon off Gosford Sailing Club, the fleet will head south via Tascott and Koolewong, passing Woy Woy Fisherman’s Wharf at approximately 12:30 pm.
These heritage vessels will then travel east along Woy Woy Channel before turning north into Paddy’s Channel and passing the Saratoga foreshore. From there, it’s an exciting sprint from Point Frederick to the finish line off Gosford Sailing Club!
After the challenge, some of the fleet will berth at the club, with a BBQ and presentation on the brand-new deck at the Boatshed Bar. Join us to take a closer look at these heritage vessels and enjoy the atmosphere.
Find a spot along the foreshore to watch this great Brisbane Water spectacle—or get out on the water and follow the fleet aboard the MV Sorrento spectator ferry, departing Gosford Sailing Club at 11:45 am.
