VNFS is delighted to be able to support a housing project being delivered through Sowing Seeds of Hope with the generous donations from 2025 Celebrating Viet Nam Mothers event.

At Sowing Seeds of Hope, we believe in the power of compassion, community, and dignity. Our mission is to walk alongside individuals and families in Cambodian and Vietnamese villages, offering practical support and heartfelt connection.

So proud to share that Sue, founder of VNFS, has had her name added to The Welcome Wall at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour.

This wall is a powerful tribute to the migrants who’ve shaped Australia — and now Sue’s story has been woven into this national celebration of courage, hope and belonging.

At the ceremony held yesterday, 113 new inscriptions from 56 countries were added.

Standing among those stories is Sue’s, recognising everything she’s brought to Australia’s Vietnamese adoptee community.

Sue, your resilience and tenacity of advocating for adoptees and their families have touched so many lives.

This honour is so well deserved. Congratulations — we’re all so grateful for your work.
