Wines of Western Australia (WoWA) is seeking suitably qualified event management professionals or companies to deliver a flagship trade and consumer wine event in Brisbane, Queensland on 4 August 2026.

The aim is to replicate the Exhilarating Sydney event held in 2025 which included 50+ WA producers and over 300 trade visitors. The Exhilarating Brisbane event will also include a consumer component.

This event forms a key component of WoWA's WA Domestic Wine Marketing Program - the Exhilarating Campaign - which positions Western Australian wines in key Australian markets.

The Brisbane event will showcase the depth, diversity and quality of WA's wine regions and producers to key trade buyers, media and consumers. The successful Event Manager will work collaboratively with WoWA's Industry Working Group and will be supported throughout the project by the WoWA administration team.

⚡ Inaugural Regional Wine Leadership Program Graduates 12 Emerging Industry Leaders ⚡
Collaborative partnership model addresses critical capability gap across Western Australian wine regions.

Twelve emerging wine industry leaders have graduated from the inaugural Cultivate Leadership 2025 - Great Southern program, Western Australia's first regional leadership accelerator designed specifically for the wine sector.

Delivered by Wines of Western Australia in partnership with Great Southern Wine Region, Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, and Wine Australia's Rootlings program, the three-month intensive program brought together talent from across Great Southern, Margaret River, Geographe, and Blackwood Valley regions to build the strategic capability needed to navigate industry challenges.

“As Western Australia’s wine sector navigates rapid change, building strong, collaborative leadership has never been more important. Programs like Cultivate Leadership are already shaping the future, with emerging leaders stepping into regional roles, driving practical solutions and strengthening networks across the state", noted Larry Jorgensen, CEO, Wines of Western Australia.
