We're excited to welcome Albany Paranormal Group to ParaCon WA 2026!

Founded in April 2026 by Chris Beard, Albany Paranormal Group may be a new team, but they bring a genuine passion for ethical paranormal investigation and a commitment to evidence-based research.

Their journey began with an investigation at a local pioneer cemetery after a community Facebook post sparked the formation of the team. Since then, they've investigated two of Western Australia's most iconic historic locations—the Albany Convict Gaol and the Patrick Taylor Cottage.

Chris, a former WA Police officer with 20 years of service, believes that no experience should ever be labelled paranormal without credible evidence. The team approaches every investigation with care, respect, and an open mind, focusing on genuine research rather than social media hype or manufactured scares.

With strong family ties to the Wheatbelt, Chris is passionate about exploring the rich history and reported paranormal activity throughout the region. An investigation at York Town Hall is already planned, with hopes of bringing authentic paranormal investigations to more regional communities across Western Australia.

This week we'd like to shine a spotlight on one of our fellow Western Australian paranormal teams – S.C.A.R.E. CREW PARANORMAL.
