Rotary Club of Subiaco We meet Tuesdays at 5.45pm for 6:15pm at the Subiaco Hotel, 465 Hay Street, Subiaco unless a special event is announced on our events page.

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
FIRST: The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
SECOND: High ethical standards in business and professions;
THIRD: The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
FOURTH: The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business

Today we were privileged to hear about Coercive Control by Deserving Better WA.
This is a wonderful organisation doing amazing things to help those in need of their support. Please reach out if you need help. They are a self funded organisation who would welcome some financial support to enable them to extend their services. Click on their link for more information.

Yesterday we had our Topics over Tea talk by Vicki from Subiaco Legal. We discussed scams and how to identify them and what we can do about protecting ourselves. We all found it very useful and interesting. We shared stories and enjoyed some light refreshments.

Our next Talk is on Monday 9 June . Our presenter is from Deserving Better WA and will present SILENT NO MORE - Identifying and Addressing Coercive Control.

Today was our first ‘Topics over Tea’ catch up. A small group of us met to finalise all the details of this initiative between the Rotary Club of Subiaco and The Third Place .
Every second Monday of each month from 9:30am we will gather together to enjoy some light refreshments and a chat followed by a presentation of a relevant/current topic and then mingle after the presentation and have the opportunity to ask questions.
The next meeting is on April 13 and we will have a presentation by Diabetes W.A.
