Our thoughts are with the family, friends and fellow competitors of Graeme Wiebenga following the tragic incident at Calder Park on Sunday.
While many of our members may not have known Graeme personally, we all share the same passion for motorsport and understand the friendships, camaraderie and sense of community that come with it. Graeme passed away doing something he clearly loved, and his loss will be felt across the Victorian motorsport community.
On behalf of the MG Car Club Victoria, we extend our sincere condolences to all who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace, Graeme.
It is with great sadness that we share the news that a member of our MSCA family, Graeme Wiebenga, passed away following a critical incident at Calder Park Raceway on Sunday.
A member of the FPV Club, Graeme first joined us at our Come and Try Day in December last year and became quickly hooked. He had a genuine passion for motorsport and loved spending time on track in his beloved AU Falcon. His enthusiasm and enjoyment of every event will be remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing the track with him.
Our hearts go out to Graemeโs family, friends and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
Graemeโs family have established a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral costs. If you would like to join the MSCA in supporting them, please click the link below.

We would also like to thank our officials, first responders and everyone at the event for their professionalism, compassion and support. We have been deeply touched by the care shown by our MSCA family and the wider motorsport community.
Graeme was doing something he truly loved, and he will be greatly missed.
Rest peacefully, Graeme
