Your club runs on its suppliers. How you pay them decides how they prioritise you. 📦

The problem usually isn't intent — it's process. Invoices arrive by email, sit in inboxes, and wait for someone to find time at a desk. By the time they're approved, your supplier has already been chasing. 📩

Lightyear moves approvals off the desk and onto your phone. Same day invoice, same day approval, supplier paid on time. âś…

At Ringers Western, “Stickin’ Together” has never been just a slogan - it’s a way of life.

This year, that spirit of community will take centre stage as the “Women of Ringers – Stickin’ Together” team participates in the 2026 Vinnies CEO Sleepout on June 18, helping raise awareness and vital funds for Australians experiencing homelessness.

Representing the team are Emma Salerno, Fran Salerno and Amelia Salerno and Rebecca Pask.

Thank you to everyone who attended last week’s HR CQnnect: Building Your Leadership Toolkit sessions across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.

Facilitated by Rachal-Ann Halliwell, the sessions focused on practical leadership skills, with attendees exploring DISC profiling, communication and feedback models, and real-world leadership scenarios they can apply back in their venues.

We received extremely positive feedback across all three workshops, with attendees highlighting the practical, engaging and interactive nature of the sessions.

FREE WR WEBINAR: PAYDAY SUPER- TUESDAY 28 MAY

Payday Super is one of the most significant changes to
the way superannuation is managed in Australia in
recent years. The new legislation will change how clubs
manage cash flow and may expose gaps in internal
payroll and compliance processes.

Join Clubs Queensland, alongside AustralianSuper and
Rubicon Law, for an informative webinar where we
explain what these changes mean, outline key
compliance requirements and how clubs can prepare
ahead of the transition. We will cover common grey
areas, and key underpayment risk areas for employers,
including employee classification, overtime versus
ordinary time earnings, and allowances.
