Our Patron, Her Excellency The Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of Australia, hosted an event at Admiralty House on skills recognition for migrant women. Two of our retail program graduates shared their stories with press and guests.
“I reminded myself that my message was more important than my fear. I wanted my voice to reach the public and the government, raise awareness, and encourage positive changes in employment opportunities for migrant women. I believe that qualifications, skills, and experience should be recognised regardless of where they come from. Everyone deserves a fair opportunity to build a career and contribute to society. For me, this experience was not just about sharing my personal story. It was about giving a voice to many other migrant women who face similar challenges.” Farukh.
