OUR HEART MOTIVATION FOR THE GURU BHUMTSOK PUJA

FPMT students from around Australia dedicated the Guru Bhumtsok last weekend for World Peace and for the world to be free from man made disasters like wars, natural disasters and diseases. There were many heartfelt prayers for the victims of the recent devastating flood in Nepal and Tibet as well as any calamities that have happened anywhere in the world.

There were 110,000 Tsok offerings with extensive prayers and merits accumulated for the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the fulfilment of all of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche's holy wishes and the actualisation of his unmistaken reincarnation. We prayed also for the success of all the FPMT centres' dharma activities to bring great benefits to limitless sentient beings' wellbeing. And also to experience dharma family gatherings of regional centers and projects too. 🙏

GURU BHUMTSOK AT LANGRI TANGPA CENTRE
An incredible weekend of joyful chanting, meaningful practices, seeing old friends and being inspired by the geshes leading the FPMT in Australia national Guru Bhumtsok. Inspiration abounded also as Langri Tangpa Centre 's volunteers cared for us, fed us, ushered us and generally made everything perfect.
How wonderful to have Geshe Rabten la from Atisha centre, Geshe Tsultrim la from Chenrezig Institute and Geshe Choden la from the Tibetan community. Our heartfelt thanks to Geshe Tenzin Zopa la without whom these Guru Bhumtsok events could not happen. He has been our guide and our bridge to Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche who advised this practice to be organised to bring all FPMT centres in Australia together. Iur heartfelt thanks 🙏🙏🙏

In light of the catastrophic flooding that recently hit Nepal and Tibet, FPMT has launched the FPMT Emergency Relief Fund to provide immediate support to affected communities. This fund assists individuals and families impacted by natural disasters, emergency situations at FPMT centers and projects, and other urgent crises requiring swift aid.

To Support - https://fpmt.org/projects/fpmt/social-services-fund/fpmt-emergency-relief-fund/

We are currently utilizing this fund to raise relief funds for those impacted by the flooding that occurred on August 26 along the Bhote Koshi River on the Nepal-Tibet border. The floodwaters have swept away entire villages, homes, roads, bridges, and essential infrastructure across Rasuwa and neighboring districts. The scale of this disaster is still unfolding, with many people remaining unaccounted for and entire communities displaced.

FPMT is working directly with Kopan Monastery to identify those most in need and help ensure that support reaches affected families directly.

We will keep you updated as aid is distributed. Thank you for keeping all those affected in your prayers. 🙏https://fpmt.org/projects/fpmt/social-services-fund/fpmt-emergency-relief-fund/
