This week 111 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 10 were first timers and 14 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 7 different clubs took part. A special congratulations to Kayleb for doing his 200th parkrun!

Mernda parkrun started on 17th June 2017. Since then 5,054 participants have completed 33,991 parkruns covering a total distance of 169,955 km, including 5,342 new Personal Bests. A total of 530 individuals have volunteered 4,581 times.

🌳Mernda parkrun is coming up on the 30/5/26! 🌳

We are looking forward to seeing everyone and we would love some volunteer roles to be filled ahead of the event!

This morning’s parkrun #396 saw 79 people brave the chilly start for a couple of laps around Mernda.
We had some first timers and PBs and we got to celebrate Disco Marshall Katy’s 50th volunteer 🪩🎉
Thanks to the 13 volunteers who gave up their time to lend a hand.
Parkrun relies on volunteers so please reach out if you support in the next few weeks.

Event #395 took place at Mernda Parkrun today in what was perfect Parkrun conditions!

116 amazing people and a few pups made it onto the course to complete their 5km - love your work! 😄😄

We had 11 First Timers and 14 people achieve Personal Bests🥳🥳

A big thank you to all our fabulous volunteers - Parkrun can not run without the efforts of you 😄❤️

You'll never regret coming to Parkrun, and additionally, you'll never regret starting your weekend with volunteering 🙂
