🐾 FOSTER NEEDED FOR YOSHI 🐾

Meet Yoshi, a gorgeous 1 year 9 month old male Japanese Spitz! 🤍

Yoshi is very human-friendly, a quick learner and does really well one-on-one. He knows sit, lie down and wait for “eat”, and is learning quickly to be respectful on lead.

Yoshi is reactive towards other dogs, so we’re looking for a foster home where he can be the only dog while he settles and continues his training.

🏡 What Yoshi needs:

• NO DOGS in foster home

• Someone patient and willing to continue his training.

• A carer who can take him to Western Animal Care in Sunshine for a veterinary appointment.

• A structured, calm environment to help him thrive
Yoshi is a smart boy who is learning quickly and has so much potential.

Our handsome blue-eyed boy has finally found his forever home! We are so happy this sweet boy has his very own family to love him. We can't wait to see him continue to grow in confidence and settle into his new life. 🩵

🔥 Flame

Flame is an absolutely stunning young Flame Point Ragdoll cross with the most beautiful colouring, striking blue eyes and a face that is simply impossible not to fall in love with. 🤍

This gorgeous boy is playful, affectionate and full of personality. He absolutely loves his pats and, once he decides you're okay, his enormous purr will tell you just how much he is enjoying them. 🥰

Flame can be a tiny bit cautious when you first reach out to him and might dodge your hand on the first attempt, but once you've won him over, he settles in beautifully and happily soaks up the attention. He has been gaining confidence and has recently started coming closer to his humans and staying around for longer. ❤️

He is also a very playful boy with an adorable habit of carrying his toys around. He loves having his favourite toys with him and is often found proudly wandering around with them in his mouth. 🧸

Flame absolutely loves other cats and could happily live with a feline friend. 🐱 He could also be perfectly happy as the only cat in the home, so long as he has plenty of love, attention and opportunities for play.

When Flame first came into care, he was very underweight, so he understandably became quite protective of his food. If another cat tries to take his dinner, he can get a little growly! 😂 For this reason, in a home with other cats, Flame will need to be fed separately so he can enjoy his meals peacefully without feeling like he needs to defend them.

He is otherwise such a sweet and affectionate young boy who is continuing to gain confidence and discover just how lovely life can be.

Flame has so much personality packed into one incredibly handsome little package. He is playful, affectionate, wonderfully quirky and has the most gorgeous purr once he decides you're his person.

He is ready to find a forever home where he can feel safe, loved and completely spoiled. Whether he has feline friends or gets to have all the attention to himself, we know Flame will make a very special companion. 🤍🔥

💔 We couldn't let Harvey's story end there.

We first saw Harvey posted on a lost and found cat group as a found cat. He ended up in a pound, he was microchipped, but nobody came forward for him.

When we saw his face, we knew we couldn't leave him there. Cats like Harvey can be put in the too-hard basket. But it's not his fault he's been abandoned, and he deserves to know what having a home full of love feels like.

We suspect the wound around his mouth and nose is cancer, and we've sent a sample from the affected area away for testing. We're waiting for answers...

We pulled him from the pound, named him and brought him into our care. He is now getting the veterinary attention he needs while we wait for his test results.

Someone once loved Harvey. He was already desexed, he was microchipped and he is 8 years old but he's been forgotten about until now 💔

We couldn't let his story end with him sitting in a pound cage, sick and alone.

So we decided to fight for Harvey.

But now we need you to help us continue that fight. We've already spent over $1,200 on Harvey's veterinary care, including surgery to take a sample from his mouth and nose and sending it off to get more answers.

Before we can move forward with all of the veterinary care needs we need to raise funds.
We don't want to have to make decisions about how much care we can provide based on the balance in our bank account.

We said yes to Harvey because he deserved a chance, and now we're asking our supporters to help us keep that promise to him.

Rescue doesn't always come with certainty, but these are the stories of animals who need the most help.

The older ones.
The sick ones.
The ones who are easily overlooked.
Harvey is one of those animals. And we couldn't walk away.

Meet Jagga Little legs, big personality & a whole lot of love! 💙

Looking for a pocket-sized best mate with a heart of gold? Say hello to Jagga 🐶

This gorgeous young Dachshund cross is an easygoing, happy-go-lucky little fellow who believes life is all about good food, great company, fun with friends and, most importantly, being carried around like a baby! Yes, you read that right. This little prince absolutely loves being scooped up for a cuddle! 👑

Jagga is a delightful mix of playful puppy energy and laid-back charm. He loves a good play session with his canine mates but is equally happy to retire to his crate for a well-earned snooze. He's already mastered the art of sleeping peacefully in his crate overnight and happily settles down for his mid-morning beauty sleep too!

💙 Why You'll Fall in Love with Jagga
Everybody's Best Friend: Jagga loves people, big and small and is always keen to make a new friend. Being a puppy, he can get a little enthusiastic with his kisses and jumping, but that's all part of his puppy charm.

🐾 Professional Baby Impersonator: Forget walking everywhere when you can be carried like royalty! Jagga absolutely adores being cradled like a baby, and we're pretty sure he'd happily make it his full-time occupation.

🐾 Play Hard, Nap Harder: Jagga has a lovely moderate energy level. He enjoys playing with other dogs, exploring and going for walks, but knows when it's time to recharge his little batteries.

🐾 A Clever Little Cookie: Jagga is responsive to gentle correction and happily sleeps in his crate all night without issue. He’s not big on toys but with a little encouragement, he’ll try his paw at a nice game of tug of war.

🐾 Food Glorious Food: Jagga loves his tucker! Sometimes a little too much, particularly when other dogs are around. He can be protective of food, so separate feeding arrangements will be important in a multi-dog household.

🏡 Jagga's Dream Home
Jagga would absolutely love a home with a friendly, playful canine companion who can help him burn off some puppy energy and keep him entertained.

His ideal family will understand that puppies are a work in progress and will continue with guidance with toilet training, lead manners and general puppy behaviour. He may occasionally explore the world with his teeth or try his paws at a little gardening, so appropriate chew toys, and enrichment will go a long way!

A few important things to know:
🐱 No cats, please! Jagga is very fixated on cats and would not be suited to living with feline friends.
🐶 He loves other dogs, but meals should be managed separately.
🏡 He needs a secure home with people committed to his ongoing training and development.

Jericho

An older staffy looking for love ❤️‍🩹

Jericho is a big, beautiful Staffy with an even bigger heart. At around 30kg, he may be a sizeable boy, but underneath that big Staffy body is an absolute couch potato who would happily spend his days curled up beside his favourite person.

After spending the past month in foster care, Jericho has come a long way and his carers have seen some really lovely improvements in his manners, confidence and ability to settle.
Inside the home, Jericho absolutely loves being close to his people. He’ll happily curl up beside you on the couch, sleep on your bed at night or find a sunny spot outside for a little sunbake. Give him the opportunity and he’ll happily launch himself onto your lap for cuddles, before somehow managing to fold his body into the most ridiculous little sleeping position. 😂

He’s playful, enjoys a bit of rough-and-tumble play and absolutely loves being involved in whatever his people are doing. He can be quite the shadow, especially when something interesting is happening. He loves a good game of tug-of-war!

Jericho is house trained and his indoor manners have improved considerably. He’s becoming much better around food and is continuing to learn his boundaries. He knows sit well, particularly when treats are involved, and is learning to wait and "okay" around meal times.

Jericho absolutely loves getting out and about and, with the help of a Halti, his lead walking has improved amazingly. He is making great progress. With his love of getting out and about, he could make a fantastic walking companion.

Jericho is fine greeting dogs on walks but he was jealous of his foster carer in his previous foster home so he is best suited as an only dog where he can soak up all the attention for himself. He would love a home with a secure, decent-sized backyard where he can stretch his legs and investigate the neighbourhood possums.

He is generally a quiet boy, with some barking at visitors and the occasional nighttime possum. He is responding well to a "no barking" command.

There's that face, those ears and that gorgeous underbite. The excitement when you walk through the door. Jericho can somehow curl himself into the tiniest little ball, before happily settling in beside you.

Jericho is a total sweetheart looking for someone who will give him the love, guidance and stability he deserves. Could you be his forever person? 💙
