🇸🇮Happy 35th Birthday Slovenia🇸🇮
Such a wonderful day of celebrations at our Club on Sunday 28th June celebrating Slovenia’s 35 years of Independence🥰
Thank you to all of you who attended and a big congratulations to our committee for another successful event👏🏼
Of course it would not have been possible without the committee and volunteers who spend countless hours, days, weeks and months of organising for such a special event.
So an ENORMOUS thank you to ALL the volunteers who helped in every way. So much hard work and dedication.
A huge Hvala Lepa goes to Anita for organising a delicious traditional menu for our special day and to SO MANY of those who prepared all the food and cooked on the day! We have heard nothing but compliments for the delicious meals so well done to everyone!
Thank you to Chantilly Cakes Melbourne for donating your beautiful Slovenian themed cupcakes!
And how lucky we are to have traditional Slovenian recipes passed down through generations shared with our community.

We’d like to thank local Member for Eltham Vicki Ward for taking the time to attend our celebrations. Our guests were very grateful as you spoke on the importance of celebrating all cultures, our history and traditions.

Thank you to Magda Pišotek and Anita Fistric for directing a memorable and emotional cultural program. The effort and creativity of stage production was, as always second to none.
An inspirational collaboration of performers from all over our Slovenian community with the inclusion of different arts, personal tributes and stories of those in our community who initiated the celebration of Slovenian culture and traditions here in Australia, continuing to be enjoyed be all.
