The Rotary Club of Diamond Creek turns 34 today.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. We are proud to celebrate our past and look forward to many more years of serving our community.

What a fabulous day we had with the tree planting at the Rotary Diamond Creek Tram cafe on Wednesday May 6. We would like to like to thank Nillumbik Shire council for providing the plants, digging the holes and their all round help on the day.
We would also like to thank the grade 6ers from Sacred Heart primary school, members from the Diamond Creek Men’s shed, Andrew from the Rotary Club of Eltham, Joy Turner, members from Benevolence Australia, Anne from the Montmorency Asylum Seekers group, as well as some of our own club members. If there is anyone that has been missed, we thank you too.

Community Tree Planting – Let’s Grow Something Together!

We’re inviting our wonderful Diamond Creek community to roll up your sleeves and join us for a morning of tree planting at the Diamond Creek Rotary Tram Café.

When: Wednesday, 6 May from 10:00am – 12:00 noon

What’s happening:
• Council will supply 500 plants including low shrubs and ground covers
• Holes will already be dug (so it’s easy to jump in and help!)
• Council staff will be on hand to guide and assist
• Some tree thinning will also take place to open up the view to the Tram Cafe.

Afterwards: Stay and enjoy lunch on us – toasties and coffee provided by Rotary!

Whether you can stay for the full two hours or just pop by for a short time, every bit of help makes a difference. And don’t worry if we don’t get all 500 plants in the ground — it’s all about coming together and doing what we can.

We’re getting into the Australia Day spirit at the Diamond Creek Rotary Tram Café with these gorgeous, Aussie-themed cookies. Featuring classic Aussie colours and designs, they’re as delicious as they are eye-catching.
A huge thank you to Always Time for Cake and the talented Kathy for creating these special treats for our community.
