🌿 Meet Willow 🌿

Willow is an American Akita × Golden Retriever and is about as gentle as they come. She’s calm, affectionate, sweet, quietly curious and has just enough puppy chaos to remind you that she is, in fact, still a baby.

She loves people and will happily follow you around, seek out affection and climb in for a cuddle… although there’s a good chance she’ll fall asleep before the cuddle is finished.

Despite being a puppy, Willow is only about a 3/10 for energy. She loves chasey, wrestling and tug-of-war with other dogs, but her play sessions are usually brief before she returns to her much more demanding schedule of napping.

Willow has been raised with dogs and cats. She matches other dogs’ play styles well, takes corrections beautifully and is learning to respect the cats’ space. Her gentle nature also makes her wonderful with children, although she still comes equipped with the standard factory puppy teeth!

She’s very food motivated and quick to learn, already knowing to sit when she wants something rather than jumping up. Toilet training is going brilliantly, she sleeps through the night, travels beautifully in the car and settles incredibly well with company.

Willow has also entered the prestigious Vacuum Cleaner Stage. Leaves, sticks, stray socks? Everything is edible until proven otherwise.

While Willow is an exceptionally chilled puppy, puppy school, ongoing training and continued positive socialisation are non-negotiable. Her family needs to understand her Akita genetics and be committed to helping this sweet, well-mannered puppy grow into an equally wonderful adult.

Willow thrives on company, whether from her humans, a compatible resident dog, or both. More than anything, she needs a family who will include her in their life and put the time into giving her the best possible start. 🖤

🌻 Meet Aspen 🌻

Aspen is a 10-week-old American Akita × Golden Retriever, currently around 7kg and expected to grow into a large dog.

Aspen is sweet, affectionate, confident and just that little bit bolder than her sister. She’s curious about the world, happy to get amongst whatever is happening and certainly isn’t shy about reminding you when she’s there.

Above absolutely everything else, Aspen loves affection. She adores her people, seeks out company and would happily spend her days alternating between following you around, climbing in for cuddles and snoozing beside you.

Aspen has a little more pep in her step, sitting around a 4/10 for energy. She loves chasey, wrestling and tug-of-war with other dogs, but still appreciates the very important puppy business of regular naps.

She has been raised with dogs and cats, plays beautifully with other dogs and takes corrections well. She’s also learning that cats have their own ideas about friendship. Her affectionate, confident nature makes her wonderful with children, although the standard factory puppy teeth are still included!

💕🍀 PIPER IN CARE 🍀💕

Tonight marks the first night of Piper’s new chapter. 💕

We are under no illusions that Piper has a long road ahead of her. At just 18 months old, she has already experienced a horrible upbringing, been moved from home to home and had four litters of puppies. She has barely had the opportunity to discover who she is, let alone learn what it means to simply be a dog.

She has spent so much of her young life caring for puppies that she has never really had the chance to experience a safe, stable and normal life.

Tonight, Piper is safe, warm and cared for. 🍀

She is in a crate where she can rest and decompress, surrounded by two incredibly understanding humans who know there are risks involved in fostering a dog with Piper’s history.

There are no children and no other animals in the home.

Just two humans who are prepared to give Piper something she may never have truly experienced before — time, patience, space, consistency and unconditional love. ❤️

They understand that trust cannot be rushed. They understand that Piper may not know how to accept affection, how to relax or even how to simply be a dog yet.

And that’s okay.

There is no expectation for Piper to change overnight.

Her foster family will allow her to move forward at her own pace, giving her the reassurance and security she needs to slowly learn that humans can be trusted and that life doesn’t always have to be about surviving.

Tonight is just one small step.

But it is the beginning of something incredibly important for Piper.

A chance to finally discover who she is.
A chance to learn what love feels like.

🥰This rescue gig is never easy. It is very hard to scream for help and ask for it. But I have learnt that asking can save lives. All kelpies safe in care for tomorrow.

🚨URGENT- CRITICAL
I have just had a carer pull out who was taking 3 pups. They arrive tomorrow morning at 10:00am.

We are in trouble. Never have I not had a place secured carer for the animals we have saved. Please, we are needing a life line.

She is also a social little lady who gets along well with other cats and enjoys having feline friends to play with.

Please, if you find a litter in your backyard, leave them alone.
Their mum has just left for food or is watching from a far. She has staked out this spot for weeks. She knew it was safe. She knew it was quiet.

Picking a litter up and taking to a vet, leaves vulnerable kittens now fighting for life with less than a 50% chance surviving in care. A mum all alone wondering where her babies went. Now mourning their loss. Before she knows it, she is back on heat, pregnant and the cycle starts again.

Beautiful Willow is a young mumma who is under 2 years old, but she has already had two litters of kittens in the past 9 months. She has been busy raising babies for most of her young life, and now she is ready to put her mumma duties behind her and finally be a kitten herself! 🥹💕

Willow is a sweet, affectionate and social girl who loves having people around. She enjoys company, loves a good cuddle and is happiest when she is getting attention from her humans.

And if there’s one thing Willow loves almost as much as cuddles… it’s FOOD! 😂🍗

She is perfectly happy around both younger and older children and would make a wonderful family companion.

At the moment, Willow is understandably in protective mumma mode while she has her kittens with her. Because of this, she isn't particularly impressed by dogs or other cats right now. She may initially be unsure of other animals, but with slow introductions, patience and time, we believe she should warm up quickly.

Frankie is Copper’s brother and like her brother Frankie was diagnosed with a grade 2-3 heart murmur but an ECO cleared her that she could be desexed and her condition is not life threatening. She has jumped all the hurdles as we jumped alongside her. After a successful trail, Frankie is now ADOPTED!!!!
