Thursday night we were fortunate to have 2 local Ballooning enthusiasts attend our meeting. Kerry Frankel and Claire Rowse both local pilots with years of experience flying internationally and in Australia spoke about the 2026 Ballooning over Mildura festival been held in Mildura July 4th -12th with over 30 balloons participating. There will also be a night glow at No 1 oval on July 4th.

We've had a number of calls and requests for information on how to/where to donate items the help those who have been affected by the recent bushfires.

Please note at this particular time- we are NOT currently collecting any material aid donations locally (Sunraysia) as there is not yet the need.

There have been some call outs (which you may have seen or heard on the new/social media) that are taking material aid donations however - those donations are being received geographically/local to the affected areas.

I attach this image from our wonderful Salvos team through The Salvation Army Emergency Services here in Victoria for your interest - but also with information on how to contribute/make financial donations if that is what you'd like to do at this time.

We will keep our local community updated if we receive the call for material aid donations for those affected communities around our state. Thank you.
