What an aMAYzing morning at The Avenues parkrun for Event number 280!
Halloween falling on a parkrunday ensured we had a kooky Kuitpo kind of morning! 👻
From a pawsome pumpkin patch 🎃 , to a batpooch 🦇 ... plenty of red in support of "Walk for Daniel" ❤️ and even an appearance from the Queen of Hearts 👸🏻 it was certainly a memorable Saturday in October!
We had 33 people run, jog and walk the course, of whom 15 were first timers and representatives of 8 different clubs taking part.

Congratulations to the following 3 superSTARS for smashing their Avenues PB...

💪 Paul Greenwood 🤩
💪 Nathan Haynes - Sensational run to the finish line! Super proud to see your progression!

We have an Extra special parkrunday tomorrow with two awesome opportunities to be involved in...

It's Halloween time! 🎃 👻 🦇 🧟‍♀️ And you do know we love a dress up at The Avenues!
BUT that doesn't mean you must be in a costume.
You can wear whatever you're comfortable in for a Saturday morning parkrun! And as long as you come with a smile that's all that matters!

We hear you say "ooooh I have plenty of red in my wardrobe" 💃
Perfect! Did you know that parkrun has partnered with the Daniel Morecombe Foundation and this Saturday is "Walk for Daniel" day?
Feel free to wear something red and help raise awareness of child safety in our community 😍

See you all at 7:45am tomorrow!
