We are raising awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and raising funds to support our boys, Archie and Jensen, living with this rare disease.

“Our Superhero Boys is a not-for-profit organisation formed to raise awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and raise funds to support our boys living with this rare disease. These funds will be used to aide in their care: medical expenses, mobility, and accessibility; in both the home and the community, to give them the quality and ease of life that they deserve.”

❤️💛 WORLD DUCHENNE AWARENESS DAY 2026 💛❤️

Today marks our 11th World Duchenne Awareness Day. Eleven years… how is that even possible?!

Around the world, red is the colour of Duchenne awareness ❤️ — but around here, we wear YELLOW. 💛⚡

Yellow is Our Superhero Boys — our little charity created because of Archie and Jensen, and a colour that has become pretty special to us over the years.

This year’s theme is “Access Changes Lives” — and this one really hits home.

Because access isn’t just ramps and doorways. It’s access to healthcare, treatments and equipment, but also school, friends, travel, the community and all the everyday things that make up a life.

As our boys have gotten older, we’ve seen firsthand how the right equipment, support, accessible spaces and transport can be the difference between being included and missing out.

So today we wear yellow for Archie and Jensen. 💛
For inclusion. For independence. For better treatments. For more opportunities. And for a future where accessibility is simply expected.

11 years later — still advocating, still raising awareness and still hoping. 💛⚡

We are truly grateful to Elders for inviting us to attend All Things Beef expo on Saturday! It was such a fabulous time getting our yellow tents out of the shed, making all the burgers, chatting about our inspiring Superhero Boys and raising funds to give them the life they deserve. We are appreciative of all the support we received throughout the day from our mighty helpers, we love you! 💛💛
