Family and Childrens Emerging Support Services

Family and Childrens Emerging Support Services FACESS champions the safety, well-being, and empowerment of children, youth and families.

FACESS is committed to breaking cycles of system involvement by addressing the overrepresentation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families in the child protection and youth justice systems. We aim to reduce homelessness, disengagement, and disconnection by offering culturally safe, wraparound support that nurtures healing, strengthens identity, and promotes lon

g-term stability. As a trauma-informed and youth-led organisation, FACESS is grounded in cultural integrity, respect, and self-determination. Our Community Kincare approach weaves together culture, connection, and care—creating safe spaces where young people can grow strong in who they are, stay rooted in their communities, and confidently shape their own futures.

National Child Protection Week 2026 posters are now available!

NCPW is coming from 6 to 12 September 2026, with this year’s theme Every Conversation Matters: Shifting Conversation to Action.

Conversations can open the door to new thinking and shared understanding. But lasting change comes when those conversations are turned into meaningful action that supports children and families.

Each poster design highlights the role we all play in creating safer communities for children.
