From that to this
A client brought a bundle of 3 planks 2 uprights and two cross members and said it used to be a table - Can you fix it?
We made an assessment and suggested we could have a go but, there would be no guarantee.

The client asked if he could help
So between us we set about restoring the well weathered parts. He had so much fun that he became a member.
As you can imagine I also had to enlist the help of many of the members from time to time so it was a real joint effort.

The client was very pleased with the outcome and made the Shed a generous donation.

Some of the crew from the Mackay Men's Shed are holding the fort at last Saturday's Bunnings sausage sizzle (North Side). The next sausage sizzle for us is on 8th August 2026. Hope to see you there!

The Mackay Mens Shed has replenished stock at the Yakapari Country Crafts and Community Centre. Our toy maker Glen has been busy creating more unique toys.
Why not pop out for a look about and have a cuppa and cake or even lunch?
