Working as a Chef Sharon loves every opportunity she has to learn new things and improve her skills. She has always had a passion for desserts with cake decorating being her hobby and potential future business opportunity. She used her funding to complete Cert III Patisserie at TAFESA Regency.

Way back in 2009 Marie approached us wanting to add to her skill set and provide a new dimension to her culinary repertoire.

She is a qualified cook who was enthusiastic about developing her skill and knowledge with chocolate and attended various Savour Chocolate and Patisserie courses in Melbourne.

Support SA Buy Local - F&B recipient of the week - Shane Buckley

Shane would like to complete the TAFESA Small Scale Winemaking course at Barossa Valley TAFE.

He has a small plot of vines on his Chandlers Hill property and is currently fumbling his way through the process, "I know a little bit about everything but not a lot about any one thing".

We anticipate that this training will allow him to fill in the blanks with the intention of being able to grow, produce and bottle his own wine for Buckley Estate Farm.

Brendan founded Unico Zelo 13 years ago and has grown it from a startup into a B-Corp certified winery with a clear market position , a team of specialists, and a CEO to lead operations. Now planting a 25 hectare vineyard Brendan wants to ensure that he fully understands the formal governance requirements required to run a business of this size.

Beyond his own businesses - Unico Zelo, Applewood Distillery, & Bottleshock TV - he is increasingly involved in wine industry leadership and would like to be better prepared to support the industry into the future. To do this he will be completing the AICD Company Directors course.
