Hannah's House

Hannah's House Hannah's House has been supporting young women impacted by homelessness since 1982.

We work collaboratively with clients and services in the Ipswich area to improve the circumstances of at-risk young women. Hannah’s House is a Specialist Homelessness Service funded by the Department of Housing and auspiced by Centro Church. We provide crisis accommodation and mobile support to young women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Services Hannah’s House provides:
- 24 hour sup

ported crisis accommodation
- Mobile support
- Assistance to maintain accommodation
- Information, advice, and advocacy
- Case management
- Referrals to specialised support services
- Assistance with personal/family issues
- Living skills and recreation programs
- Income and budgeting assistance
- Education/training/work assistance

Christmas Hampers 2025 is well underway thanks to the wonderful Donna and Oggy from Helping Support Minds and amazing volunteers🫶
Hundreds of hampers will be distributed across our region once again ensuring that families and individuals services are supporting will know that their community is thinking of them this Christmas!

Last week for National Homelessness Week, we engaged with the local community, students at Sacred Heart School Booval, St Edmunds College, St Mary's College and the Ipswich Youth Advisory Council asking them to reflect on the question "What does home mean to you".
