Hannah's House has been supporting young women impacted by homelessness since 1982.

We work collaboratively with clients and services in the Ipswich area to improve the circumstances of at-risk young women. Hannah’s House is a Specialist Homelessness Service funded by the Department of Housing and auspiced by Centro Church. We provide crisis accommodation and mobile support to young women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Services Hannah’s House provides:
- 24 hour supported crisis accommodation
- Mobile support
- Assistance to maintain accommodation
- Information, advice, and advocacy
- Case management
- Referrals to specialised support services
- Assistance with personal/family issues
- Living skills and recreation programs
- Income and budgeting assistance
- Education/training/work assistance

It's that time of the year🎄🎁
Christmas Hampers 2026 Ipswich (Australia) is under way and taking donations thanks to Booval Fair for providing the amazing space for this initiative yet again😍
To help make the hundreds of hampers needed this year, donations of the following non-perishables are needed.

*Hot Chocolate
*Coffee
*Biscuits
*Lollies
*Chips
*Poppers
*Soft drink
*Bon Bons
*Candy canes

What an incredible surprise! 🎁
Thread Together & Pillow Talk Australia teamed up to donate and deliver 20 'Comfort Capsules' filled with linen for our crisis shelter! Each box contains everything needed to make a bed nice and cozy for young woman entering crisis accommodation.
Thank you Thread Together for seeing the need and thank you to Pillow Talk Australia for fulfilling it😍.

We talk about the importance of community a lot in our work so when we get to experience the generosity and kindness that exists in our community, we want to share it!
Brassall Congregational Church has a heart for our community that evokes both inspiration and emotion. They have again provided us with items for every need on our list, used to ensure that each person arriving for accommodation feels welcomed with all the essentials. We are truly grateful❣️

This week is National Homelessness Week and this morning homelessness services from the Ipswich Housing & Homelessness Network gathered to acknowledge the dedication, collaboration and hard work of staff working together in our region to address homelessness. Hannah's House is proud to work alongside the most amazing people who demonstrate what community means every day!
And speaking of community - Thank you Oikos Cafe for looking after us and our coffee needs!
