It’s with great sadness that the Ipswich Parents and Old Boys say good bye to one of their most popular members today. Charlie Melvin passed away today at Ipswich Hospice, after a short but torrid fight with Cancer.

Charlie was one of our main raffle ticket salesmen and was well known as the main socialite, never short of time for a chat.

Charlie! your enthusiasm, camaraderie and willingness to work to raise money to help the youth of Ipswich will not be forgotten by our members. But mostly your friendship and your never ending smiling face will remain in our hearts.

Rest In Peace Charlie!!

POB were invited to Ipswich BasketBall stadium on the weekend to watch the Force Men and Women in action. The men narrowly went down but the women raised the flag with a great win!!
As with all our sports we are proud to be able to donate to help bring the next generation along to keep our cities proud sporting status at a high level.
