A huge thank you to the Maroubra Lions Club for helping launch our Safe in the Water EOFY Appeal with a generous donation of $1,000.

For more than 20 years, Maroubra Lions have been valued supporters of Rainbow Club Australia and have stood beside us through countless events, programs and fundraising initiatives, including supporting the Malabar Magic Ocean Swim since its inception.

Lainie and John, Joint Presidents of Maroubra Lions Club, said:

"We are proud to support Rainbow Club and the important work they do helping children with disability learn vital water safety skills while building confidence and connection. We encourage others to support this year's appeal and help keep these programs accessible for families."

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing friendship, generosity and commitment of the Maroubra Lions Club and all their members.

Thank you for helping us keep children with disability safe in the water. https://safeinthewater.gofundraise.com.au/

We're excited to be part of Get Fit, Give Back campaign again this year. đź’™

When you join a participating BlueFit Health Club on a 6-month membership, $100 from your membership fee is donated to a registered community organisation of your choice.

If you're joining a BlueFit club in NSW, QLD or VIC, we'd love your support. Simply nominate Rainbow Club Australia and help more children with disability access specialised swimming lessons and water safety programs.

Together, we can build safer, more inclusive communities. https://www.getfitgiveback.com.au/

A Special Visit to Orange Rainbow Club đź’™

Last weekend, our CEO Johanna had the opportunity to visit one of Rainbow Club’s longest serving clubs, Orange Rainbow Club.

Pictured here Graham and Tracey, who together with Matt, have helped make Orange Rainbow Club a welcoming and vibrant community for local families for many years. Their dedication, along with the commitment of many teachers and volunteers past and present, has helped Orange grow into Rainbow Club’s largest regional club, with around 40 members enjoying lessons each Saturday.

Orange has also built a wonderful tradition of making the trip to Sydney each year for our annual Rainbow Carnival, bringing members, families and teachers together to celebrate all they have achieved in the pool. We are looking forward to welcoming the Orange team back to PLC Pymble on Sunday 27 September for this year’s Carnival.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make Orange Rainbow Club such a special part of the Rainbow Club community.

Our CEO, Johanna Pitman, attended the NSW Office of Sport Disability Sport Forum this week, connecting with leaders from across the sector and discussing ways to increase participation opportunities for people with disability.

Pictured with CEO Mick Garnett from Wheelchair Sports NSW and Kate Bailey PLY Paralympic medalist and former Rainbow Club teacher at Warringah.

Working together, we can create more inclusive opportunities for children and young people with a disability to participate in swimming sport and recreation.

📢 King’s Birthday Long Weekend Reminder

A quick reminder that Rainbow Club classes will continue as scheduled across the King’s Birthday long weekend.

We look forward to seeing our members in the pool, continuing to build swimming and water safety skills, confidence and independence.

Please attend your usual class time unless you have been advised otherwise by your local club. Remember if you are unable to make your lesson please mark absent in your parent portal so your local teacher knows you will not be there.

See you at Rainbow Club this weekend! đź’™

Many families tell us that Rainbow Club is the first place where their child truly feels they belong.

But recent NDIS funding changes are making it harder for some families to afford the specialised swimming lessons their children rely on.

đź’™ Donate today: https://safeinthewater.gofundraise.com.au/

This EOFY, we're asking our community to help keep children with disability safe in the water and ensure families can continue accessing the support they need.
Every donation helps keep specialised swimming lessons affordable and accessible for children across Australia.

Because every child deserves the chance to learn, grow and belong.

A busy day at Kensington Rainbow Club today filming as part of our new collaboration with Nundies.

It was wonderful to see our members developing their water safety and swimming skills, and hearing families share their Rainbow Club experiences. We may have even discovered a few future stars during the interviews!

Thank you to all the families who took part and to our Kensington team for making the day such a success. A special thank you to Lead Teacher Ariel for helping coordinate everything behind the scenes.

We can’t wait to see the finished production.
