2026 WALK TO REMEMBER
Honour. Reflect. Celebrate.
Join us in a Walk to Remember. An opportunity to honour the memory of loved ones and raise awareness of the compassionate care provided by Ipswich Hospice.
What to Expect:
- a peaceful walk in memory of loved ones
- live onsite broadcast from River 94.9
- Poem reading and butterfly release
- fundraising BBQ
- coffee van and doughnuts
- face painting by Crystal (will incur a donation fee)
- Live music by Kayla Rose
- merchandise available for purchase
- a chance to support the incredible work of Ipswich Hospice

Whether you are walking in memory, supporting a friend or simply coming to reflect - you'll be part of a beautiful day of remembrance and community.

Event Schedule
9am - registrations open, River 94.9 onsite broadcast commences
9.15 am - Welcome, poem and butterfly release
9.30 am - St Edmund's College "Skool to Schoolies" Exhibition cycle
10am - join the Walk to Remember
11am - Live music by Kayla Rose
12 noon - River 94.9 onsite broadcast ends
1.30pm - event ends

Important Information -
- The Registration tent will be located at the Huxham Street side of the venue (opens at 9am).
- There are a limited number of disability parking spaces available at the Ipswich Hockey Association via Huxham Street
- Street parking and a small car park located at Briggs Road are available
- Registration is required for all attendees, including children, due to participant number restrictions.

A bit of friendly rivalry today at Ipswich Hospice, with supporters for both Queensland and New South Wales.

The West Moreton HHS Palliative Care Community Outreach Team had a purple morning tea on Monday this week, to raise money for Ipswich Hospice.
