Amaroo Seniors & Rangers

What a night of celebrations, special moments and plenty of fun! We celebrated Kwilana’s birthday, enjoyed some fun-filled baby shower games to celebrate the little Bubbles on the way, and shared in the excitement of a special promise for one of our Ranger Guides. With lots of laughter, games and wonderful memories made, it was a night to remember! And of course we ended the night with Warreen's special decorated cake.

Chuculba Juniors

Our Chuculba Juniors didn’t let a little rain dampen their spirits! They proudly presented their badge work before jumping into a series of fast-paced Minute to Win It challenges. There was plenty of determination, teamwork, laughter and fun as they gave every game their best shot. What a fantastic effort from our Juniors!

What a weekend of fun, friendship and adventure at JOTA!

This weekend, 1st Ipswich Girl Guides joined forces with Gatton and Goondiwindi Guides for an unforgettable JOTA experience!

What an amazing opportunity it was to jump on the radios and connect with Guides and Scouts from all over! There was plenty of laughter, excitement, new friendships made and memories to take home.

But one of the best things about Guiding? The friendships that last a lifetime!

As Bubbles always says, one of her favourite things about Guiding is that it doesn't matter if it's been weeks, months or even years since you've seen your Guiding friends. The moment you're back together, it's like you only saw each other yesterday!

That's the magic of Guiding. No matter where life takes you, you're always part of one big Guiding family!

A huge thank you to Gatton and Goondiwindi Guides for a fantastic weekend filled with fun, friendship and new experiences, and of course a huge thank you to Di and Bill for having us.

Different towns, one Guiding family, and friendships that know no distance!

First Week Back Vibes!
We kicked off the term with plenty of fun, laughter and exciting plans!

Chuculaba Juniors jumped straight into the action with some fun games and started planning their very first patrol week!

Amaroo Seniors got hands-on and worked on building their fire-making skills.

Amaroo Rangers got together to plan an exciting term ahead, while both Seniors and Rangers put their heads together to start planning our last night of the year!

What a fantastic start to the term! We can’t wait to see what adventures are ahead!

Second Week Back for Chuculaba Juniors!
Week two was just as exciting, with two of our patrols running their very own activities!

From outdoor games and creative hat swaps to flipping pancakes and getting messy with some slime-making fun, there was something for everyone!

There were plenty of smiles, lots of laughs and loads of fun as our Juniors continued settling into the term and making memories together.

What a way to kick off another exciting term!

Never been a Girl Guide? That’s okay! You don’t need previous Guiding experience — just a willingness to get involved, have some fun and help our girls discover what they’re capable of. 🌟

As part of our Guiding family you could be…

🔥 Learning outdoor skills
🎨 Getting creative and VERY messy
🍳 Cooking up something delicious
🪢 Learning new skills alongside the girls
😂 Sharing plenty of laughs
💪 Helping girls grow in confidence, independence and leadership

And the best part? Guiding isn’t just an adventure for the girls — it’s an adventure for our adults too!

What a weekend!
A HUGE thank you to all our amazing volunteers who gave up their time to support 1st Ipswich at History Alive. You are absolute legends!

And an even BIGGER thank you to the wonderful organisers of History Alive for having us along and giving our Guides the opportunity to be part of such a fantastic event.

We are so lucky to have such an incredible Guiding community. The time, energy and passion our volunteers put into supporting our district never goes unnoticed.
From gates to BBQs, our Guides were out there showing that Girl Guides are chic! 💚

We couldn’t do what we do without our amazing Guiding family. Thank you! 💕

🎉 What a HUGE weekend for 1st Ipswich! 💚💛
Yesterday our amazing Guides were out and about volunteering at History Alive, helping at the gates with ticket scanning and keeping everyone fuelled up at our BBQ! 🔥🌭 And guess what… we’re back again today! 🙌
But that’s not all! We also squeezed in our Family Granny Bingo Night 🎲👵 — and what a night of laughs, fun and a little bit of friendly competition! 😂
It’s weekends like this that remind us just how special our Guiding family is. 💚 Coming together, volunteering, making memories and enjoying some good old-fashioned fun!
