💙 Volunteer with Make-A-Wish – Ipswich/Springfield Branch 💙
✨ Want to do something truly meaningful in your community? ✨
The Ipswich Branch of Make-A-Wish is seeking passionate volunteers to join our incredible Wish Force and help make the impossible possible for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a team that creates life-changing wishes and unforgettable moments for children when they need it most 💫
A few things to know before you apply:
✔️ You must be 18+ and able to commit for at least 12 months
✔️ You’ll need a personal email and be comfortable using our secure online volunteer platform
✔️ Online training is required within your first 6 weeks
✔️ The application process includes an interview, reference checks, background check, and a Working with Children Check (or state equivalent)
✔️ You’ll need to be able to travel to local meetings and events in the Ipswich LGA.
✔️ If supporting wishes, you’ll enjoy chatting with kids and families 😊
