Joeys (5-8yrs) 5-6 Wednesday
Cubs (8-11yrs) 6-7:30 Wednesday
Scouts (11-14yrs) 6-8 Tuesday
Venturers (15-18yrs) 6:30-8:30 Monday
Region Rovers (18-25) 7-9 Wednesday

PlayOn! Vouchers

Parents, Carers or Guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $200 for eligible children and young people. Vouchers can be used towards the cost of membership and/or Term fees.

👉🏻 To redeem the voucher with Raceview Scouts, please email the PlayOn! Vouchers to 📨 [email protected]

If you have lodged a voucher directly to Scouts Qld State Office, please advise the Raceview Group Treasurer via 📨 [email protected]. This helps ensure we are aware of the submission and avoids duplicate voucher lodgements and the additional administration involved.

Once the Play On! funds are received from the Queensland Government, Scouts Queensland State Office will transfer the funds to your Group. Please allow up to 28 days for processing, as payment timeframes are dependent on voucher volumes and Queensland Government payment schedules.

Joey Jaunt 2026 🦘 Our biggest day for our smallest members!
This year's theme was "Brownsea Island Basics", where we focused on the basic Scouting skills. Our attending Joeys climbed, balanced, created, solved puzzles, tied knots, painted, and so much more!
We even had a visit from the Chief Commissioner Scouts QLD, Geoff Doo, who also took part in our activity, mini Scarf & Woggle woggles. How fun!!

Thank you to the incredible team who put this event together, and to all of the groups who provided such awesome activities 💗

We were going through some of our old photos & folders, and found this GREAT photo of the Joey Mob from 1993!

Also! There was a "Gumnut" mentioned on some of the Christmas cards from that year, but we have no record of them - do you know who it was? I'd love to know!

It's a beautiful day for an Adventurous Journey!
Our Joey Scouts enjoyed a bushwalk, picnic, and games - all organised by Ellie who is completing her Peak Award.
We took our Nature Bingo cards with us to help us observe and document our surroundings - we made so many discoveries!

Everyone loves a Games Night!!! Especially when there's snacks! 😋 Some of our favourite games are Guess Who, Hurry Up Chicken Butt, Fart (yes, really 😂) and Uno!

Gumnut and Akhuna spent the weekend at BP Park completing their Leadership Training & Development course. It is wonderful to see Leaders & Rovers continue to develop their personal and leadership skills!

We wish Crystal & Zoe the best as they complete their Wood Badge projects over the next few months!

Let's hear it for our Leaders and adult members! It is National Volunteer Week, so it is time to shine a light on the people who make Scouting possible for our youth members ⚜️
