Ipswich QLD parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am at Bill Patterson Oval. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Ipswich QLD parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners and walkers of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am in Limestone Park, Ipswich, QLD, Australia. Ipswich QLD parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Today was a fabulous parkrun - weather was perfect and everyone was in great spirits.

We welcomed visitors from Canberra, Wagga Wagga and Germany 🇩🇪

Just a friendly reminder that if you are running with a dog you are not able to use a waist strap…it needs to be a hand held lead.

There are a few volunteer spots available in the next few weeks. Please consider volunteering as parkrun cannot run without our volunteers.

Until next week
