Ipswich QLD parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am at Bill Patterson Oval. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Ipswich QLD parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners and walkers of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am in Limestone Park, Ipswich, QLD, Australia. Ipswich QLD parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to O

lympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

This week 176 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 24 were first timers and 21 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 13 different clubs took part.

A huge shout out to little Tommy who ran his first ever parkrun at 6 years old. Tommy has been running 2.5km for a while now but since he turned 6 he has now graduated up to 5kms. 🙌👏🎉

The event was made possible by 16 volunteers 🦺

Ipswich Qld parkrun run report #611

A great morning with a mild attempt at pretending to think about rain led to great conditions for some fast times this morning. 24 of our parkrun fam created new PBs which is a good number now that the New Year resolutions are well and truly finished and we're back to normal operations.

Welcome to our visitors and our Alphabeteer as well as a hearty well done to our three milestones Addison (100), Sean (50) and Nick (25).

A big thanks to our super volunteers who felt the love your shared with them out on course.
