Members of our building team stand proudly at Dama District School, reflecting on all that has been achieved through this year’s classroom refurbishment project.

As we approach the final week of finishing touches, we look upon a school that has been completely transformed - clean, modern and far more engaging for both students and staff. These improvements will help create an environment where learning can truly thrive.

A heartfelt congratulations to our dedicated team whose hard work and commitment have brought this vision to life. We look forward to sharing images of the completed project with you very soon.

Today we were honoured to be part of the Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Lekutu Kindergarten in Vanua Levu , a very important milestone and the beginning of what will become a beautiful early learning space for the children of this community and surrounding villages. It was the beginning of a promise to support education, strengthen communities and invest in the future of Fiji’s children.

The ceremony was deeply meaningful, filled with culture, gratitude and the support of the Lekutu school community and local people, marking the start of a build that will have a lasting impact for generations to come.

This project is being made possible together with the incredible Donna Guest from Blue Illusion, whose generosity, trust and belief in our work has allowed us to bring this vision to life. We are sincerely grateful to Donna for entrusting us to deliver this project with care and purpose.

To the teaching staff, school leaders, families and the entire Lekutu school community, thank you for welcoming our team so warmly and for allowing us to be part of something so important. We are thrilled to be able to gift this much-needed facility to the local people of Lekutu and to help create a safe, inspiring and joyful place for young children to learn, grow and thrive.

Vinaka vakalevu to everyone who made this special day possible. Great work Katalyst team and enormous gratitude to Chief Guest, Mr Filipe Nainoca. 🇫🇯🙏🏼🩵

Today marks the beginning of something truly special for our foundation.

With the planting of our very first coconuts, a unique variety chosen for this long-term vision — we celebrated the first step in what we hope will one day become a thriving social enterprise, helping to fuel the work of the Katalyst Foundation while creating local employment opportunities.

This is a long-term project, but every great journey starts somewhere.

A huge thank you to the 18 local rugby players from Vanua Levu who joined us, bringing their strength, smiles and plenty of muscle to help get the project underway.

We are incredibly proud of this milestone and grateful to everyone involved. Special thanks to our project leader, Renee, whose passion and dedication continue to drive this vision forward.

Here’s to growing something that will benefit generations to come. 🌴💚

In 2018, the Katalyst Foundation built its first ever kindergarten in Solevu, Fiji. Today, around 30 children attend the kindergarten thanks to one dedicated teacher: Tina.

But Tina has no home of her own. She and her two daughters live with her brother, with no certainty of how long they can stay.

This June, help us build teacher’s quarters at the Katalyst Foundation Kindergarten in Solevu, giving Tina a reason to stay.

As we prepare for the groundbreaking ceremony of our third Katalyst Foundation kindergarten build alongside our generous partners at Blue Illusion, we took a moment to speak with one of the parents from our Dama Kindergarten about why these facilities mean so much to local families in the rural communities of Vanua Levu.

For many families, a safe, welcoming and purpose-built kindergarten is so much more than just a classroom — it is hope, opportunity, and the foundation for a brighter future. In remote areas where resources are limited, access to quality early education can change the trajectory of a child’s life.

These conversations remind us exactly why we do what we do and why partnerships like this matter so deeply. Together, we are not just building kindergartens, we are helping build better futures. 💙

Meet our latest Katalyst Foundation Tertiary Hostel Graduate now working for our foundation. Buna is now playing a very important role as assistant teacher at our newly built Katalyst Foundation Kindergarten in Dama. We are super proud and thankful as we continue to remain right alongside Buna as she now gives back to the community of Dama. This is her story 💙

A picture that says everything about why we do what we do ❤️

Standing proudly with our Founder & Chairman, Mr Rob Cromb, are three remarkable young men from Bua Province, once Katalyst Foundation hostel students, and now graduates who have stepped into employment with Lyndhurst Fiji and the Katalyst Foundation.

This moment feels incredibly special. We are proud of all of our graduates, but this photo is a beautiful reminder of what success can look like when opportunity, education and support come together.

From regional Fiji to tertiary education in Suva, and now meaningful employment — this is what full circle looks like.

To see these young people grow, graduate and now give back through their work makes us immensely proud. 💙🙌🏼

So very proud of these young men:
Tevita Savou now Manager The Greenhouse Fiji, Ratu Seru who recently joined our Lyndhurst PTE Limited Finance team and Isoa Bale who now looks after Projects for Katalyst Foundation.
