We’re delighted to announce that Gosnells Safe Communities Now has been accepted as a charity!

This means we can now receive donations and share them with the wonderful community groups we work alongside—supporting the people and initiatives helping make our area safer and stronger.

We’re a volunteer-led group, and we’re proud to be part of a community that gives so much. Thank you to everyone who supports us and helps make a difference.

Come and say hello! We’ll be at Maddington Central on 24 October, near the food court and Kmart. We’d love to see you.

We’d like to thank everyone who helps promote the work of Gosnells Safe Communities Now.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we work alongside the City of Gosnells and community groups to share important information and help build a safer, more connected community.
Today, we were delighted to share a photo opportunity with Madam Mayor Terresa Lynes, along with Cobus and Isabella from Maddington Central. Thank you all for your continued support and commitment to our community.

We’re excited for the season ahead and look forward to working together to celebrate and promote the events, organisations and people making a real difference across our community.

Saturday the 26th September we had our first pop up stall at Maddington Centro and what an awesome responce from the community we had. Its so nice to talk to the community for them to see what we do as volunteers working with the City of Gosnells to promote not just the importance of safety but seniors programs, disability programs and youth programs that the City of Gosnells has available for all members of this community.
A big thank you to the Mayor Terresa Lynes - City of Gosnells and Maddington Centro for organising this opportunity for us. Our next stall will be at the same location in between the food court and Kmart on the 24th October so come and say hello between 9am and 5pm.

Hello fellow residents of City of Gosnells, we are so proud to be working with the City of Gosnells to promote ongoing safety and their programs for Disability, Seniors and Youth available within the City of Gosnells. We are also excited to announce we are working with Maddington Centro and have a pop up stall in the centre near the food court on these dates.

Dear Residents, For your information:

High Security Notice:

Please be aware that there is a group of people going door to door pretending to be Home Affairs Officers. They have documents and letterheads from the Home Affairs Department and claim that they need to verify that everyone has a valid ID for the upcoming census. They rob houses. They are everywhere and they look neat.

Someone will come to your house and say I want to take your photo/fingerprint according to some scheme. They have a laptop, a biometric machine and a list of all the names. They show the list and ask for all this information.

Please be aware that there is no such initiative by the government.

Please be aware that all of this is fake. Do not give them any information. Everyone should be vigilant and aware!

Send this to all your community groups. Please inform your family and friends.

The Leo Club of Gosnells is running a Community Disposal Day on Sat 1 August 2026 at Bunnings Maddington 10am-2pm.

You can bring your confidential documents to the Community Secure Disposal Day and have them securely shredded for a donation.

Redgum Justice is holding a fundraising Quiz Night to help raise vital funds for the organisation.

I’ll be stepping into the role of quizmaster extraordinaire for the evening, so it should be a great night full of laughs (hopefully not at my expense), a bit of friendly competition, and some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Each ticket includes a grazing board packed with beautiful food, along with entry into the quiz itself. Certainly worth getting a group together to support this fantastic organisation and the important work they do helping people in our community.
