Circle Sunday Session August 23 on 107.3 HFM

Had a magical time chatting to DL Nix, author and publisher, about the awesome Otherworldly Emergence series, currently being released. I am enjoying the first book in the series, Enchanted Escapes by April Mae. And how cute is the little Reaper she gave me!

Check out Dianna's Bushland Castle Productions website for all the details of the 13 books being released over the next few months: https://www.bushlandcastleproductions.com/

Circle Sunday Session for Sunday 9 August was both a lot of fun and a serious, essential conversation. Special guest Cade Brown joined Valerie Latimour and Linda Bernhardt in the studio to talk about his recently published book, 'Built for More - The Elevated Man Project'. The book is a practical guide to overcome the pressures and expectations men face in today's society, and to become the best version of themselves.

Cade has also written a children's book, 'The Superpowers Inside Us', and has a new book about surviving toxic workplaces about to be released.

Her latest Society Paper has just been published in the August edition of our Circle of Friends newsletter.

Make sure you tune in to CIRCLE SUNDAY SESSION on 107.3 HFM this Sunday, the 9th of August, at 2PM.
The special guests for this week's show are GWC's very own dynamo, the lovely, bubbly Linda Bernhardt, and local author Cade Brown.

Cade Brown is an author, leadership mentor, and devoted husband and father with a passion for helping people unlock their potential. Drawing on his own experiences of adversity, resilience, and personal growth, Cade has written books that inspire readers to build confidence, develop character, and live with purpose. From his empowering children's story "The Superpowers Inside Us" to the practical, personal development book for men "Built For More: The Elevated Man Project", his work encourages readers of all ages to discover the strength they already have within them.

Cade's books sound amazing, and we can't wait to hear him read some excerpts from them on Sunday.

We're sure Linda will have a few of her fabulous poems and short stories to entertain us with too.

So, set your alarms... Sunday... 2PM!

You won't want to miss it!

We have an exciting show, with two wonderful guests, lined up for CIRCLE SUNDAY SESSION this Sunday, the 26th of July, at 2 pm.

Joining Valerie will be Kerry Goode OAM and Sylvia Mason.

Kerry Goode OAM is a pillar of Perth’s theatre scene. Affectionately known as ‘Dame Kerry’ in the arts community, she has graced the stages of multiple prominent theatre groups, bringing countless characters to life. With a career spanning decades, Kerry has not only been a celebrated actor, but she has also taken on roles as director, committee secretary, and has assisted backstage. In recognition of her extraordinary, lifelong dedication to the performing arts and her local community, Kerry was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2026 King's Birthday Honours.

Gosnells Writers Circle member Sylvia Mason has been happily engaging in writing for many years. Born and raised in Germany, her mother wrote ditties to amuse her friends. Inheriting her Mother's writing gene, Sylvia writes both poetry and short stories. Favouring poetry, her writings are based on her life and experiences, which she loves to share within her writing groups. We hear on the grapevine that Sylvia is working on some new pieces to share with us on Sunday and look forward to hearing them!

Make sure you tune in to 107.3 HFM at 2PM on Sunday!

Circle Sunday Session on 107.3 HFM!

Life happened this week, so planned guests weren't available, and there was no time to rustle up last minute stand ins. So host Valerie Latimour went it alone, filling the airwaves with an impromptu 'History of Gosnells Writers Circle', a trip down memory lane touching on GWC's humble origins in 1982, and featuring some readings from past publications. There was a bit of stammering and babbling, but the show went on, as it must.

The next Circle Sunday Session is July 26, hopefully with a guest or two 🤞
