CIBRA Chevron Island Business and Residents Association Businesses and residents of Chevron Island creating a community. Chevron Island is an island located just west of Surfers Paradise, QLD Australia.

It is home to a community of 1500 residents and over 100 businesses. With something new to be discovered everyday, Chevron Island is a stylish, one-stop shopping precinct in at the heart of the Gold Coast.

The 2026 CIBRA
(Chevron island Business and Residents Association Inc )
AGM (annual general meeting)
IS BEING HELD THIS SUNDAY 20 SEP
Location: THE KORMAN FAMILY PARK - THOMAS DRIVE CHEVRON ISLAND

To be held at The Korman Family Park in the shaded vicinity of the public electric bbq.

The meeting will be a casual affair from 11am sharp !
and expected to take approx 30 mins.

Bring your chair along and relax as straight after the meeting CIBRA are putting on a free sausage sizzle to be cooked by the newly voted in CIBRA committee.
Simultaneously Live music will be provided from 16 year old Ms Miah May on vocals and supported by a young 15 year old Calleb on Saxophone for your enjoyment for approx 1.1/2 hours.

2026 has been a breakout year for CIBRA with membership reaching a highest ever with 51 members.
The street party was attended bigger than ever !

CIBRA is a non for profit organization with its only funds coming from Chevron Island residents and businesses supporting us by joining as members for 12 months
$10 for residents $40 for businesses.

A Membership application form has been attached to this post and will be available on the day.

Those members that joined as members on the 26 Julys Street Party and after will be honored for 26/27 membership.

Local Award-Winning Talent

Chevron Island’s own Eliza McArlein, owner of E’Aesthetics Skin, has had an incredible year of recognition in the Australian beauty and dermal therapy industry.

Eliza has recently taken home the ABIA Dermal Therapist of the Year Award, presented by Mocha Beauty Media, as well as being selected as part of the Beauty Squad.

She has also been recognised by Circadia Australia, taking out 2nd place nationally as Sole Trader of the Year for Queensland, following her 1st place win in 2025. Eliza is also a proud Circadia Ambassador.

Based right here on Chevron Island, Eliza has built E’Aesthetics Skin around advanced skin treatments, education, and helping clients feel confident in their skin.

These awards are a wonderful achievement for a local business and a reflection of the passion, dedication and ongoing education Eliza puts into her work.
