Meet Kel Flanders, our final panellist for 'Overcoming Adversity, Shaping the Future'! 🌟
Kel is the General Manager Marketing at , leading brand, communications and partnerships for the region's largest integrated resort. With a 27-year marketing career that began in the UK, she has worked on some of the biggest stages in the world — including the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 🏅 — before putting down roots on the Gold Coast with iconic brands including Palazzo Versace, the Gold Coast Turf Club and Dick Johnson Racing.

In her current role, Kel has led her team through one of the most challenging periods in the industry — navigating market shifts, government mandates, evolving ownership and multiple restructures. Her experience has shaped a deeply held belief that resilience isn't just about pushing through — it's about staying clear in your thinking, backing your people, and adapting quickly when everything around you is changing. 💪

She is a passionate advocate for gender equity in leadership and for the people she leads, and we know her story is going to hit home for so many women in that room.

Kris is a producer, executive, and creative technologist with over 20 years of experience across film, television, live entertainment, education and digital media — spanning Australia, the UK, and the US. She is the founder of Ozpix Entertainment, co-owner of the iconic Australian brand Humphrey B. Bear 🐻, and Chair of Magic Forest Group, a registered charity delivering wellbeing and community engagement initiatives.

If that wasn't enough, Kris is also the creator of GOMESH, a platform helping businesses and IP owners bring their assets to market — and she brings all of that energy, experience and future-focused thinking to every room she walks into.
She'll be joining our panel discussion 'Overcoming Adversity, Shaping the Future' and we have a feeling her perspective on navigating change, building sustainable careers and creating meaningful impact is going to resonate deeply with every woman in that room. 💛

We're proud to announce that our charity partner for the June Networking Breakfast is the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation — and we need YOUR help to make our raffle something special!
Established in 2012, DWF works tirelessly to protect some of the world's most threatened and endangered species — from tigers and koalas to bilbies and tree kangaroos. They fund critical conservation research, habitat protection, anti-poaching initiatives, and community education, and are recognised as the largest zoological donor to tiger conservation in the world. 🐯🐨

Belinda is the General Manager of News Corp's Gold Coast & Toowoomba market, bringing 21 years of media experience across print, TV, radio, and digital. She's led major sales teams in Sydney for both News Corp and Southern Cross Austereo before calling the Gold Coast home — and she hasn't stopped giving back since.

From the Gold Coast Community Fund to the Griffith University Business School Strategic Advisory Board, Belinda is deeply embedded in the fabric of the Gold Coast and we couldn't think of a better person to hold the mic on June 12.
