nder stereotypes and barriers to physical activity. We use netball as the vehicle for that change as it addresses emotional, social and physical well-being. Netball is a sport by women, for women and we're proud to engage with the netball community to improve the lives of women and girls.

We love seeing the impact of Unilever x Confident Girls Foundation grant funding coming to life across Queensland 💜

With the generous support of Unilever, Netball Queensland recently hit the road, travelling to Miles and St George to connect with regional communities and deliver programs that give more young people the opportunity to experience and enjoy netball.

From a NetSetGo session at Miles State School and Little Nettys at a local kindergarten, to umpiring development and time spent connecting with the St George netball community, it was a fantastic weekend of participation, learning and connection.

The Confident Girls Foundation is proud to work alongside Unilever to support programs like these, helping Netball Queensland create more opportunities for girls to participate, connect and build confidence through netball, no matter where they live.

A huge thank you to the Netball Queensland team and all of the associations, schools, educators, volunteers and families who helped bring these programs to life.

We can’t wait to see the continued impact of this funding across Queensland! 💜🏐

What an incredible day in Sydney! 💜

A huge THANK YOU to Father’s of Girls for supporting the Confident Girls Foundation through their Sydney Lunch and raising funds to help us continue creating opportunities for girls and young women through netball.

We were also lucky enough to hear from some amazing guest speakers, including Confident Girls Foundation Board Member Gabbi Stubbs, Megan Dickinson from the Live Life Whole Project and AFL legend Jude Bolton.

We are so grateful for the work Fathers of Girls do to champion and empower girls, and to highlight the important role fathers and positive male role models can play in their lives.

The most special part of this partnership is knowing that these fathers are choosing to support girls beyond their own daughters. Girls they may never meet. Girls from communities very different from their own. Girls who simply deserve the same opportunity to participate, belong, build confidence and dream big.

There is something pretty special about fathers coming together not just to create a better world for their girls, but for all girls.

Thank you, Fathers of Girls. We are incredibly grateful to have you in our corner, and we can’t wait for the upcoming Brisbane Lunch! 💜

Thank you Suncorp! 💜

At the 2026 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final, we were proud to receive a $50,000 cheque from Suncorp.

For every Super Shot made throughout the 2026 Suncorp Super Netball season, Suncorp donated $100 to the Confident Girls Foundation, turning every two-point shot into opportunities that change lives.

This partnership has now contributed more than $400,000 to help us support netball associations and communities impacted by severe weather events across Australia, ensuring they can get back on court and continue to thrive.

We are incredibly proud of the work we get to deliver through this partnership and the positive impact it continues to have in communities right across the country.

NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate the rich history, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This week, we're also celebrating the inaugural Spirit Series, an incredible tournament showcasing the talent, pride and culture of First Nations and Indo Pacific women in netball. We wish the First Nations Black Swans and every participating team all the very best as they take to the court.

At the Confident Girls Foundation, we're grateful for the opportunity to learn from, celebrate and stand alongside First Nations communities and organisations. Their knowledge, leadership and culture continue to enrich our sport and inspire the work we do.

What an incredible milestone!

Thanks to this year’s Aspire Netball Under 11's Development Day, the Aspire Netball Netball community has now raised over $40,000 for the Confident Girls Foundation since 2020.

Throughout her professional netball career, Sam Poolman was a passionate Confident Girls Foundation Ambassador, generously giving her time, energy and support to help empower girls both on and off the court. Following her retirement from elite netball, Sam’s commitment to our cause has continued through Aspire Netball and its annual fundraising efforts.

This achievement is a testament to Sam’s leadership, her passion for developing young people, and the generosity of every player, family, coach and supporter who has contributed along the way.

To Sam and the entire Aspire community...thank you. Your support continues to create opportunities, build confidence and positively impact the lives of girls across Australia.

💜 Sometimes the biggest wins happen off the court.

Recently, the Confident Girls Foundation was proud to connect The Sports Bra Project Australia with Netball NT for the 2026 Sitzler First Nations Netball Carnival in Darwin.

Thanks to this partnership, boxes of sports bras were distributed to players and umpires throughout the carnival, helping ensure women and girls could participate comfortably, confidently and without barriers.

A sports bra might seem like a small piece of equipment, but for many girls and women it can make a huge difference to their ability to play, officiate and stay involved in sport.

We love bringing organisations together to create opportunities, remove barriers and help more girls experience the confidence that comes from sport.

A big thank you to Netball NT and The Sports Bra Project Australia for making it happen. We'd also like to thank adidas Australia for their generous donation of the sports bras that brought this initiative to life.

This partnership was the perfect fit 😜, and together we're helping more girls belong, participate and thrive 💜🏐
