Since our beginning we have aimed to highlight and address the key drivers of gender bias including; financial barriers, lack of leadership opportunities, isolation, ge

nder stereotypes and barriers to physical activity. We use netball as the vehicle for that change as it addresses emotional, social and physical well-being. Netball is a sport by women, for women and we're proud to engage with the netball community to improve the lives of women and girls.

💜 Sometimes the biggest wins happen off the court.

Recently, the Confident Girls Foundation was proud to connect The Sports Bra Project Australia with Netball NT for the 2026 Sitzler First Nations Netball Carnival in Darwin.

Thanks to this partnership, boxes of sports bras were distributed to players and umpires throughout the carnival, helping ensure women and girls could participate comfortably, confidently and without barriers.

A sports bra might seem like a small piece of equipment, but for many girls and women it can make a huge difference to their ability to play, officiate and stay involved in sport.

We love bringing organisations together to create opportunities, remove barriers and help more girls experience the confidence that comes from sport.

A big thank you to Netball NT and The Sports Bra Project Australia for making it happen. We'd also like to thank adidas Australia for their generous donation of the sports bras that brought this initiative to life.

This partnership was the perfect fit 😜, and together we're helping more girls belong, participate and thrive 💜🏐

💜 Supporting girls to stay in sport and thrive through netball 💜

The Confident Girls Foundation is proud to support the Radars Netball program in Cairns through a community grant helping more girls stay connected, active and engaged through sport 🏐✨

The incredible Radars community are creating such a positive and supportive environment for their girls, with strong training attendance, improved school engagement and exciting development opportunities already being seen across the program.

A special highlight was netball legend Vicki Wilson travelling to Cairns to host a clinic with the girls, sharing her knowledge and passion for the game with players and coaches alike. Opportunities like this can have such a powerful impact on young girls and their confidence both on and off the court.

We love supporting programs that create belonging, opportunity and pathways for girls from all backgrounds to continue playing the sport they love 💫

What a special day at the Queensland Firebirds match on the weekend!

Our Fathers of Girls crew had an absolute ball, with so much fun, laughter and plenty of unforgettable memories shared between dads, daughters and families 🏐✨

We love creating opportunities like this for girls and their families to connect through sport, build confidence and be part of something truly special.

A huge thank you to the Queensland Firebirds for supporting the day and helping create such a memorable experience for everyone involved 💜

Head down to your local Woolworths and purchase participating Rexona and OMO Australia products to help donate towards $100,000 for the Confident Girls Foundation. Together, we can take Woolworths NetSetGo to communities right across the country, giving more girls the chance to play, belong and thrive through netball.

Last year, thanks to your support, we took Woolworths NetSetGo from Cape York in Queensland all the way to Kangaroo Island in South Australia. We can’t wait to see where we can take it this year! 💚💛

We are so amazed by our Confident Girls Foundation Ambassador Paige Hadley 💜

“You can’t be what you can’t see.”

Role models matter, especially for young girls. Someone has to go first, lead the way, and show others what’s possible.

On Saturday, Paige showed exactly what a confident girl does. Turning up for herself, her team, and her family with strength, determination, and heart.

As we reflect on Mother’s Day this week, we celebrate Paigey and all the incredible Suncorp Super Netball playing mums who continue to inspire the next generation and show us what’s possible both on and off the court 💜

We cannot wait to pack out Nissan Arena, bring the noise and soak up every second as the Queensland Firebirds take on the West Coast Fever later this month in a special Suncorp Super Netball First Nations Round clash🏐✨

Recovery starts with opportunity 💜

Through the Suncorp Natural Disaster Relief Grants, communities are rebuilding, reconnecting and getting girls back in the game.

These stories say it all, from repairing what was lost to helping girls and communities return to the court, reconnect and rediscover the sport they love.

Playing, smiling and thriving...it doesn’t get much better 💜🏐

The Confident Girls Foundation is proud to support Radars Netball Club in Cairns, helping bring 4 teams and 36 girls into the game this season.

From rain soaked game nights to those first fixtures back after the holidays, the energy is real and these girls are showing up with resilience, confidence, and pure joy.

Behind every whistle, every pass, and every goal, there is a whole community making it happen:

- Volunteer coaches and managers giving their time
- Families making sure every girl gets to the court
- Teammates lifting each other up, on and off the court

The Confident Girls Foundation is proud to create more chances for girls to step onto the court, grow in confidence and connection, and be part of something special.

Reminder: Applications are OPEN 💜

Round 1 of the Suncorp x Confident Girls Foundation Natural Disaster Relief Grants for 2026 is now open, and we don’t want anyone to miss out.

Thanks to the ongoing support of Suncorp, we’re continuing to support netball communities across Australia impacted by floods, bushfires, cyclones and severe weather.

We know how important netball is in bringing people together. These grants are here to help clubs and communities recover, rebuild and stay connected.

Grant details:

• Up to $5,000 available
• Open to clubs, associations and community groups impacted by natural disasters
• Funding can support equipment, uniforms, registrations, facility recovery and rebuilding initiatives
