A reminder for those planning to attend the dawn service here in Bundanoon on Saturday morning. We’ll have free bacon and egg rolls, and a cuppa on hand afterwards for the hardy early risers. If you’d like to say thanks we won’t say no … any donations made will go to Soldier On who deliver holistic support services that enable current and former Australian Defence Force personnel, and their families, to lead meaningful civilian lives.

Wasn’t Saturday a fabulous day? Another brilliant Brigadoon. Thanks to the organisers, and to everyone who turned out and chose to sample our barbecue (and thanks too to Bundanoon Butchery for the delicious snags).

Bundanoon local Kerri was the lucky winner of the always amazing Bundanoon Lions Scotch Raffle. Thanks to Pioneer Flask for their support.

We’re already looking forward to next year. See you then (when you’ll have another chance to win some scotch!).

It looks like it's going to be a pearler of a day tomorrow - Sunday 29 March - for our inaugural Dogs Day Out. If you haven't yet registered your furry beloved because you weren't sure what the weather was going to do you can still register and pay when you get there. Just be at the Carriage Club at 147 Quarry Rd, Bundanoon by 9am. There'll be food and yummies for the hoomans, as well as fun stuff the pets! Come along. It's gonna be a ball of fun.

Bundanoon Lions. Club is hosting the inaugural Dogs Day Out on Sunday 29 March (yes, next weekend). We urgently need someone with a coffee van set up to come along to slake the caffeine thirst of those attending. Have you entered your furry beloved in the inaugural Bundanoon Lions’ Club Dogs Day Out?

Register today, and bring your dogs to compete for the best presented, best owner look-alike, cutest, best golden oldie, best dressed and six other classes. There’ll be three classes just for kids (but they can enter any class). The judge is renowned animal behaviourist Kirstin Feddersen.

It’s going to be a great day out for everyone!

* Festivities kick off at 10 am with the grand parade.
* There’ll be stalls from Bundanoon Loves Dogs, Bundanoon Vet, and others.
* Agility training show by the Wollongong Dog Sports Club
* Bundanoon Photography Group will happy-snap your dog for a gold coin donation to FOWAS
* Food from the Lions and the Valerie Van

It costs $5 per class to enter your pooch. For everyone else, entry is free - and there’s plenty of parking at the Southern Highlands Carriage Club, Quarry Road just off Ferndale Road.

It's A DOGS DAY OUT. A Bundanoon Lions Club project

From 10 am, SUNDAY 29 MARCH, at the Southern Highlands Carriage Club, 145 Quarry Road Bundanoon

ALL WELCOME

There'll be prizes and ribbons for all classes of pooch, from Best Presented and Best Trick, to Cutest Puppy and Best Rescue.

Enter into as many as you and your best mate fit. Just $5 entry fee per class.

Of course, all dogs must be on leashes (and it goes without saying that you must pick up after your furry beloved).

We're trying something new. In addition to the paper form for the Car Boot Sale (definitely on Saturday 28 March 😉), we've created an online version. Just need to fill in the details, EFT the funds and Bob's-your-whatnot!

We know not everyone can manage digital things like this so the paper form will still work just as well. Either way, we'd love your feedback.
