Over the past six months, we've seen a 60% increase in attendance across our programs.

Through Learn & Play, Pop In Connect and Tea, Talk & Togetherness, women and children have opportunities to connect, build relationships, learn new skills and participate in a safe and welcoming environment.

This growth reflects the importance of providing support beyond casework, with programs that help reduce isolation and strengthen connection within our community.

What does wraparound support actually mean?

Domestic violence and abuse can impact many areas of a woman's life, and every woman's circumstances are different.

Our caseworkers take the time to understand each woman's individual needs, helping her navigate and connect with the services and support that may be right for her.

This statistic is confronting, but it's one we cannot ignore.
Domestic, family and sexual violence doesn't just affect safety in the moment. It has lasting impacts on physical health, mental wellbeing and quality of life.
At Pop In, we see the courage it takes to seek help and the difference that specialist, trauma-informed support can make. Recovery is possible, and no one should have to navigate it alone.

Did you know Pop In has a Community Pantry? ✨

Our Community Pantry provides essential food, toiletries, baby items and household products to women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse.

For many families, leaving an unsafe situation means leaving behind everything. Having access to everyday essentials can relieve immediate financial pressure and provide one less thing to worry about while they focus on rebuilding their lives.

This service is only possible because of the generosity of our community.

If you'd like to support the pantry, we are always grateful for donations of:

🩷 Non-perishable food
🩷 Toiletries and personal care items
🩷 Cleaning products
🩷 Baby essentials
🩷 Supermarket/fuel gift cards

Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure local women and children have access to the essentials they need.

An 8% increase isn't just a statistic.
It's more women reaching out for help.
More children needing safety.
More families rebuilding their lives.
Nationally, domestic violence incidents have increased by 8%.

At Pop In, we've seen a 10% increase in casework and a 50% increase in programs over the past year, clear evidence that the need for specialist support continues to grow in our own community.

Every number represents a person who deserves to be believed, supported and safe.
