The Time Is Now and I have offered Sam our community respondent & the team I will do a call out to Rallying the Troops.

Just a little flashback in late 2024 in just 48 days our community with help of friends & family submitted 2,900 submissions to the IPC.

Together WE MADE THAT HAPPEN. 🌟

Now I completely understand that letter/submission writing vs physical doing something are different however if they are BOTH done to support a CRITICAL WIN why wouldn’t we just DO IT?

Ok why is Monday 19th October just as Critical well it’s the 1st Day of the Final Appeal Hearing between RePoly and the Independent Planning Commission.
We have two extremely valuable respondents Sam Wood for our community & The Garvan Institute (unique medical bio resource facility)
The commissioner that will be attending the site to preside over the Legal Court proceedings will then continue in this role for the following 9 days in Sydney’s Land & Environment Court.

Now please let this really sink in - the commissioner on that day will be making the FINAL decision.
Yes no jury it will be the decision of this commissioner.

So let’s imaging if they saw 100-150 as we have had previous at site hearings which has been so great - compared to 500 plus.
They will have that community imagine with them forever more.

Imagine again that this RePoly Land was OUR home & we would call everyone we knew to come & support us if it was threatened.

That’s the WHY - the WHY we need everyone.
We have ONE shot at this let’s make it COUNT.

It’s a court day so yes I understand it’s not suitable for everyone but just imagine if a 1/4 of those of us that wrote submissions were physically united on Monday 19th October.
Standing in respectful solidarity that would be 725 people..

Time - Arrive by 8.30 leave by 10.30 at the latest.

Car pool if you can we are arranging parking people (me Anna included) to make your being with us as easy as possible.
