After a successful inaugural season, our junior girl’s competition is back, but we need your help. To ensure our competition suits our participants were seeking expressions of interest. This will help us determine what age(s) our competitions are.

Please share this with anyone who may have a daughter looking to get involved in cricket.

It is a friendly, supportive environment for junior girls to play cricket.

The representative cricket season is just around the corner.
We will be holding trials for our U12, U14 and U16 representative teams on Sunday 26th July and Sunday 2nd August.

A Remarkable Piece of Moss Vale Cricket Club History

Every now and then, a piece of history resurfaces that reminds us just how rich our sporting heritage truly is.

Recently, a member of the public discovered this beautiful batting trophy among a family member’s belongings and generously brought it to our attention. Awarded during the 1898–1899 cricket season, this trophy would have to be one of the oldest surviving pieces of memorabilia connected to Moss Vale Cricket Club and likely local cricket in the Southern Highlands.

With the club’s history stretching back to 1874, this incredible find offers a rare and tangible connection to the pioneers who helped shape cricket in our community years ago.

We are incredibly grateful to the family for preserving this piece of history and for allowing it to be shared with our club and the wider community. It is discoveries like this that help keep the stories, traditions and legacy of Moss Vale Cricket Club alive for future generations.

Who knows what other treasures may still be tucked away in cupboards, garages or family collections? If you have any old Moss Vale Cricket Club photographs, trophies, scorebooks or memorabilia, we’d love to hear from you.
