Its with the heaviest of hearts that Moss vale CC sends it heartfelt condolences to the family of one of the finest cricketers to wear the maroon and white.

Michael Bull passed away earlier this week, taken way too early, like they say only the good die young.

Michael won five 1st Grade premierships (90, 91, 92, 96 & 05) with the club and was Captain the last time we lifted the trophy in 2004/05.

Perhaps his greatest moment was taking 8/52 in the 91/92 Grand Final against CBC with his brother Daniel and father Ross being involved in the other two wickets.

A gentleman both on and off the field, one of the best blokes you could know, the legend will continue Bully. You'll be missed by everyone you every met

Gone but never forgotten. Rest in Peace

Very proud to be the only club to have 3 senior sides competing Grand Finals this year. Unfortunately rain saw our Tina McPherson Cup side prevent them going back to back, but 3rd grade have the opportunity to go 2 in 2 (which will also make it 3 in 4!) in their game against Bowral at Tourist road, while 2nd Grade are looking to claim back the cup after last winning only 2 seasons ago in 23/24 when they take on Robbo at New Berrima. Huge weekend for Moss Vale cricket, so come on down and show your support as we look to cap off another great season with 2 more premierships!

This one comes with a caveat, that there may be a few scorebooks missing from the early days of this blokes Mossy career, but congrats to for 1000 senior runs for Mossy cricket! A true Mossy OG who most recently guided 2nd grade to a grand final berth.

Congrats to a great season for our excellent under 12s. Although they couldn’t get the job done in the semi final against a strong Robbo team, the boys had a great season finishing 3rd. There were rep honours for some which was awesome to see, but for others it was their first season of cricket and the improvement and development over the season by all the boys makes all of us here at Mossy cricket so proud! Congrats again and can’t wait so we you all back in the maroon next season.

Huge 10 wicket win for 2nd Grade in their preliminary final against Bundy today. After winning the toss and sending Bundy in, we got to drinks feeling positive with Bundy 4-88 including the wickets of their 2 leading run scorers. After drinks (6/16) turned it on with the ball to dismiss Bundy in under 30 overs for just 112. It was a truly impressive and destructive spell of “not yucky” bowling which saw Woodsy take 5/2 off just 3.3 overs!

With just 113 to win, it should be an easy chase, but in finals you never know…but today it was a great display of batting from & Daniel Smith “Cron” who methodically went about chasing down the small total. Both batted beautifully, ran well and didn’t give Bundy a sniff, hitting the winning runs in the 24th over. Darcy reached his half century to finish 51* while Cron was not far behind finishing on 44*. It truly was a joy to watch.

Bring on next week when 2nds take on Robbo in the big dance! With 3rd grade already qualified and taking in the Bowral Cavs, it’ll be a big weekend for Mossy cricket!

Congratulations to absolute legend and club sponsor of for playing 100 grade games for Mossy last Saturday! Jay is an absolute clubman both in everything he does for club and the way he belts balls over the boundary. We are very lucky to have you at Moss Vale Jay and look forward to many more games in the maroon.

Mossy under 10s played their final game of the season today and while it’s been awesome to see our youngest side improve week in week out, most importantly it was the amount of fun they had playing together that that was really great to watch. And as the boys like to shout every 3rd ball…”MOSSY MOSSY MOSSY! OI! OI! OI!”

Now enjoy their attempt at a human pyramid after the game this morning.
