Congratulations to our first-round competition winners, Berndt in the Humorous Speech Contest and Justine in the Evaluation Contest!

Berndt had us laughing, while Justine impressed us with a thoughtful and insightful evaluation. Both represented the spirit of Toastmasters brilliantly, and we are so proud of their achievements.

A heartfelt thank you to our guest judge, Jenny, for generously sharing her time and expertise, and to Northside Produce for sponsoring the event and supporting our club.

Well done to everyone who competed, helped organise the evening, and came along to cheer on our contestants. What a fantastic night of learning, laughter and encouragement!

This week we welcomed new members Sam and Tony. We can’t wait to watch your confidence grow. We also welcomed guest speaker Jenny from Hervey Bay, it was such a pleasure listening to Jenny’s story and passion. Thank you also to Cynon for popping in while you were in the area. It’s always lovely to get visits from other clubs.

Next meeting is Thursday the 13th of August. All are welcome to come along and see if we can help support you with your quest for being more confidence with public speaking, interviews, or presentations.
